I have lived in Arlington, Ballston/Virginia Square area for nearly 8 yrs. I’ve tried many nail salons everywhere. I can honestly say that Ten Suite Nails at JC Salons on Wilson Blvd is by far the best!! My-le is super attentive to details and clean outcome of her work. She listens to what you want but also is professional enough to make suggestions when needed. You should listen to her. I trust her with my nails 100% and the spa pedicure is anazing. I love the massage that is part of the spa pedicure. Also, being diabetic I have to be careful about cleanliness and not getting cut in any way to avoid infections. She is very careful yet precise and all her equipment are sanitized. She can do it all, the latest nail art treatments and designs. She has a very steady hand. She is a sweet person to talk too if you want to, but also very respectful if you just want a relaxing quiet experience. The place is bright and clean and only two customers at a time, but sometimes just you. Rose, who also is a nail stylist is just as sweet and meticulous with her art as My-le is. They are cut from the same cloth. I feel they are the best of Ballston/Virginia Square area.. I found The Executive Nail Suite through a Groupon offering a discount on a classic manicure. I added on gel for the manicure and also got a gel pedicure. My-Le is absolutely wonderful! She played music throughout and offered to let me choose what was playing, as well as had Netflix on (an episode of The Great British Bake-Off with subtitles), which she also lets you choose shows from. She did a great job on both the manicure and pedicure, even though my fingernails are tricky to work with because I bite them and they're quite short. She offered water and wine (I chose the wine!). The massage chair is soothing and comfortable. She also gave me a sugar scrub and a massage during both the mani and pedi. She has happy hour prices during weekday mornings through early afternoons, and there is also a punch card rewards system. My-Le is a wonderful conversationalist, and I learned a lot from hearing her advice and tips about how to take care of your hands and feet, as well as about wine tasting and other miscellaneous subjects. The online appointment system is super easy to work with, and you get a 5% discount when you use Venmo (and also I believe if you use cash).
