Customer Service and Customer Experience. This is something that Verizon nor it's third party stores teach!
I initially back in February went into this store to inquire about the Samsung Ultra Pre-sale and was told that after I trade in my and then upgrade my plan that it would roughly be $1,600 out the door for transferring my data, getting new case, accessories etc. as you can see it has been a few months but needless to say I walked thinking? How could I be paying $1600 when I was suppose to be getting a new phone priced at $1199 and $1000 off with my trade-in? So, I sadly went to Verizon online and purchased it through them. Needless to say I had about the same experience with Verizon online. Verizon Online wanted my trade-in phone. I wanted to make sure that all my data was removed. I drove over to Verizon and they had two employees sitting there playing on their phones. One gentleman said can I help, I told him I needed help removing some data. He very quickly said go to setting. general management then click on factory reset and you are all good. This is was done very quickly. I could figure that out on my own but that was not my real concern. I wanted to know if the factory reset actually wipes out all my data or can it be brought back with software. Then he put done his head and got back on his phone. Two employees doing nothing would not lift a finger to help me. Am I wrong, just because I am not buying something from a Verizon (third party) store should I not be able to ask questions?
Based on this response, the answer is loud and clear. I am not supposed to ask questions about a Verizon product unless I bought it from this store.
If this is your policy could you please state that somewhere in your store. It was extremely embarrasing and at the same time extremely upsetting. It states Verizon on the door, I am a Verizon customer but not allowed to ask this store questions about Verizon products.
I will definitely go out of my way to never visit this store again, they definitely don't want or deserve...
Read moreWell...needless to say I will never set foot in this store. While I can't speak for the service in the store itself, I can definitely speak for the character of an employee. Maybe this person was having a bad day which we all have, and i'm certain that she didn't understand my intention at the time, but the reaction was absolutely unwarranted. I parked in front of the store just before it opened as I had planned on making a purchase. Mind you, the parking lot was completely empty. Since the store was not yet open, my friend and I decided to walk next door to see when the neighboring Mexican restaurant opened as we planned on having lunch there after finishing at Verizon. An employee immediately came outside and threatened to tow my vehicle if I parked there. Now had I been allowed to explain the situation it probably would have been no big deal, but she continued to yell at me even though it was obvious I was walking back to move my vehicle. She continued to complain the entire time I walked back to my vehicle. Again, the parking lot was completely empty and we planned on returning as soon as we checked the hours of the restaurant next door. I completely understand politely asking someone to move their vehicle, this would have been no problem at all and I would have happily complied. As someone who has worked in retail in the past, this approach caught me completely off guard and struck me as rather arrogant and unnecessarily aggressive. I'm not an unreasonable person, but I will not be returning to...
Read moreWe went to the Spirit Lake store first and the gentleman named Hunter was absolutely amazing in helping set up our new phone. We had a mix up with numbers (our fault) and we went back to him that same day and he was very understanding and sat with us for a long time while we waited for the other person who’s number we got switched up with, to call us. We then went to the Arnold’s Park store because he said we could go to any store and they can complete the service since we could not get an answer from our friend in time. The woman who helped us in Arnold’s Park was very rude. Gave us attitude from the beginning and handed us a number to call and said there was nothing else she could do. I did not catch her name because she made sure to get us out of there as soon as possible but Hunter deserves a raise and this lady should...
