We didn't try any food but did see quiche and macaroons that were left uncovered on the counter, eww. The girl that helped us was borderline rude. We asked very basic questions to clarify before ordering, and she acted like we were dumb. It took 10 minutes (I'm being generous) for her to literally pour the "bloody mary" (canned cocktail- which is Not disclosed on the "menu" that it's a pre-made canned cocktail) I ordered over ice and add a pickle and some meat. My sister and I watched her have a full-on conversation with a customer before wandering back to pour my drink. It was kind of ridiculous. It's a cute enough place, but be prepared to wait. Good coffee, super cool and modern interior with a cool patio. I will say, when we arrived more than 30 minutes before their closing time, the cashier rolled her eyes several times when she had to turn on the menu screen and when we ordered food. “We’re out of avocados,” “we’re out of protein powder and we just cleaned all the blenders.” I mean I’d understand if we were 10 or 15 minutes before closing so that was just disheartening. I want to start off by saying that this place is NOT just a coffee shop. At night it's a really relaxed lounge bar that serves some of the best drinks okoboji has to offer. The smoked old fashioned is usually my go to but they have so many more. I definitely recommend you check this place out if you haven't already. If Ana's your bartender, you've hit gold. Ask her for her specialty drinks. Last time I went in she made me a smoked pineapple margarita with vanilla bean foam and it was unreal. If you're into espresso drinks try a Don Julio espresso martini, espresso old fashioned, or a bananas foster espresso martini.
