Gastronom European Russian store — Local services in Arvada

I came to this Russian store hoping for a pleasant experience, but unfortunately I left disappointed.

I bought some pirozhki (stuffed pastries), but when I got home, I realized they were old and clearly not fresh.

I also asked to have some deli meat sliced. The employee told me, “I can’t, I have a line.” I was surprised — I had already waited in line like everyone else. Then they said, “You can wait until another employee comes and slices it for you.”

I didn’t want to wait again, so I just paid and left.

This kind of service is unacceptable — especially in the U.S. Customers should be treated with respect, and products should always be fresh.

I’m leaving this review in hopes that management improves both the quality of the food and the attitude...

The store looks big. However the stuff is rude and not friendly. I didn't feel welcome neither valuable. The two Russian women inside of the store were talking Russian language to each other. The lady on the cash mashine was talking on the phone and taking forever to help a couple Infront of me. Very rude while serving me. The lady at the cash mashine express extreme being annoyed by my presence. I also noticed that the 🧀 I purchased is 1/3 compared to the store in Lakewood, but cost 12$, the same cheese in the other store cost 7$.

I also like to add that the store was dirty and a lot of garbage outside of the entrance door, and many stuff disordered all over. It's just not a good spot. I will not go there again. Do...

Great customer service. We were greeted with respect and attention (something not many other Russian stores in the area do). They also have a wide variety of Ukrainian and other non-Russian-origin food for people who want a sample of Eastern European food without supporting Russian supply chain. I did not see any expired products, as other reviewers mentioned. But as with any small, niche store, I’d recommend just looking what you buy before paying.
