Edit #2 4/10/25: The manager responded to my previous edit, and spoke with me via email about what happened. I've gone back to the store twice since then, and thankfully have not had to interact with the previous barista that I had that previous negative experience with. The two times I went recently, my orders have been correct and the service has been much better. No errors on my food orders or drinks. I am glad that this issue was taken seriously and addressed.
Edit 3/14/25: This location has gone downhill since I left my review. For the second time in a row (separated by a month or two), the girl working the register made a mistake on my order. The first time, I ordered an ice vanilla latte, and she rang me up for a chai vanilla latte. Today, I ordered a chocolate chip cookie among other things, and she gave me a chewy chocolate cookie. That much chocolate makes my stomach sick, and the most annoying thing was that she rang it up right, gave me the wrong product, but it was for our 7 hour drive and we wouldn’t even notice until we were 2 hours from home. When I called to explain what happened, the same girl picked up the phone and basically told us that mistakes happen and we should just accept that. Her response showed no sympathy and she did not own up to her mistake and accept responsibility. Not only that, but she was extremely standoffish when I ordered, as if my coming in to order was an inconvenience (even though they only had one other customer before me waiting for their drink). Management needs to have a chat with this employee, or her attitude and actions are going to drive customers away.
Old review:
Seriously so good. The biggest issue here is trying to limit yourself to one bakery item when you go in for a cup of coffee! Everything is so flavorful, with delicious and creative flavor/ingredient combinations. My favorite drink here is a vanilla latte (hot or iced, both are great), made with their homemade vanilla syrup crafted with real vanilla beans. They take the time to measure every ingredient by weight, which equals out to a consistent cup you know you’ll enjoy no matter who’s making it or when...
Read moreWith all the third wave coffee shops that are popping up all over Colorado, especially when the quality of coffee beans sourced in all these stores are all nearly equal, how do you stand out from the crowd? It's quite simple really, you give your customers a space where they could really feel connected to the environment. The open layout of the store, with huge windows, well-defined sections with dividers, plants, and carefully curated furniture, not only offer you a sense of warmth, but rather a place where you can really sit down and connect with your friends (or your work). If you have come across the Danish concept and design principle of creating cozy and happy spaces, "Hygge" (pronounced hoo-gah), then this place embodies that principle.
Now, if you are just reading this to know more about the coffee, then rest assured, Corvus has some of the finest beverages and beans in the offering. The baristas were super friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the beans. Special shout-out to Lauda, who goes above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction.
There is a parking lot outside. The restrooms indoors were neatly maintained. Do stop by if you want a perfectly brewed cup of coffee and an experience worth...
Read moreCorvus one of the best coffee shops I've ever been to. They have a pretty wide selection of rotating coffee from different places, but also have tea. They also have rotating pastries that depend on the seasons, but are always fresh, and quite tasty.
The staff are fantastic. Super friendly and extremely professional. They can tell you about the coffee, about the pastries, or just make you feel welcome in the store. I've only ever had good experiences when I talk to them, and we stop by almost weekly. The store is also really cool on the inside. They have a ton of different plants, and a wide range of seating/tables, including a patio! It's a really relaxed atmosphere in the shop. They also have two bathrooms that you don't need to ask for a key or ask for a code to use.
There's a ton of parking, on either sides of the building, and in the lot near the other stores. However, it can be difficult to see where the store is if you were not looking for it. The signs for it are not that big and they are further in the back of the Shops at...
