Maripage is an incredible person and provided amazing care for my cat as I'd imagine she'd treat her own pet. I am pretty protective of both my cat and my home, so when it came time to find catsitting/boarding for my cat (Ms. Celia) over an upcoming trip, I was a little bit worried. Celia has previously been boarded with her vet, but as she and I are somewhat new to the area, I hadn't established care anywhere yet. A bit of Google searching led me to an Asheville petsitters website, and after browsing about 20 different company bios and "About Me" pages, I made an account with Maripage's Meow Cat Sitting website and requested an initial meet and greet. Her introductory phone call only 30 minutes or so after I created that account already made me feel that I'd made the right choice. She was professional, knowledgeable, and able to address any worries that I had - the follow-up meet and greet only solidified that further. She never pushed Celia to socialize, instead allowing her to come out of her hiding places on her own terms. Maripage continued to be impressively professional and went above and beyond while I was away on my trip, as she shared daily email updates and pictures. I loved seeing how she got to know Celia over several days, and how my little buddy became more and more comfortable with Maripage's visits. I arrived home late tonight to a shuffled lockbox combination (awesome peace of mind that she took my apartment security seriously), a very clean apartment itself (great), and a very happy cat (extra extra great - the part that really matters). Maripage had even taken the extra care to vacuum up litter and make sure that the place was just as I'd left it. Over two years ago, my dog, Gus, and I moved to an Asheville apartment. Gus had never lived in a place where he didn't have a dog door to freely go outside. Gus is a big and lovable Saint Bernard, and of course a family member. I had to find the perfect match for him. My mom and I found Maripage online after reading several reviews. We decided she was our best choice for Gus. She visited with us and I instantly knew she would be a part of our daily lives. It's been two years, and we can't imagine not having her as a part of our world! She has walked Gus through the rain and snow, sends me sweet emails about each walk with pictures, and is always able to be reached by phone, text, or email. People in the apartment complex have asked if I was taking care of him for her because they see her with him so often. (And she is more attentive than me!) At times I have asked for her support to see Gus while I had a family or work emergency, and she has been extremely helpful in making sure Gus is comfy and taken care of during those rough nights when his routine is so disrupted. Maripage is an absolute gem! She has been the only person I trust to take care of my kitty Jackson. She is reliable, knowledgeable, and professional and has been an integral part of our lives for at least 3 years. I wouldn't be able to travel without her. My kitty had to have a major surgery years ago, and he needs someone attentive and knowledgeable while I'm away. I've always trusted her abilities and judgement. And I think Jackson even looks forward to her visits! She takes care of all his kitty needs and sits with him, gives him attention, and play. He is absolutely bonded to me and doesn't do well by himself. He needs the kitty care, but what my little codependent furball really needs is her love and attention while I'm away. Even better, she sends email updates every visit, with pictures, which helps put this worrisome kitty momma at ease.
