We can't say enough good things about Abbey Carpet & Flooring. From start to finish, their team was incredible—especially Susan and Katie, who walked with us through every step of the process with genuine compassion, patience, and professionalism.

We first reached out to Abbey in March 2024 after a leaking pipe destroyed the flooring in our finished basement. From the moment we visited their showroom, we were impressed by their knowledge and willingness to help. We chose both new flooring and carpeting, but our insurance company made the process incredibly difficult. Throughout the back-and-forth, Abbey remained patient, responsive, and supportive—answering every question and providing all the documentation needed without hesitation.

When we finally received the green light from insurance in late August, one of our original selections had been discontinued. Once again, Susan and Katie guided us through the re-selection process, providing updated estimates with no fuss or frustration. Just as we were ready to move forward, we suffered a sudden loss in our family and had to put everything on hold. Abbey didn’t just understand—they waited with grace.

Later, when we urgently needed to create a space for an aging parent, Abbey got us on the schedule quickly. Their installation team did a beautiful job laying the new flooring, and when we noticed a small issue, they came back immediately to fix it—no hassle.

Then, heartbreakingly, just two months later, a separate water issue destroyed the carpet they had just installed. I reached out, and once again, Abbey responded quickly and kindly, even as we were navigating yet another family emergency.

Dealing with insurance is always difficult, but paired with the personal challenges we faced this past year, it felt nearly impossible at times. We had a very pleasant and informative visit to your store as we began our search for a replacement carpet in our family room. Jillian was very courteous and helpful as we began reviewing the variety if carpets available. She explained the carpet grading and respective pricing.

At our home, Craig efficiently took the necessary measurements and provided the feedback we desired regarding our selection of carpet. He provided a reasonable quote for the carpet and high-grade padding since we owned a dog and wanted to protect the underlying padding.

Upon the arrival of the installers (unfortunately I've forgotten their names, but I'm sure your records can identify them) they quickly assessed the configuration of the room and removed the reclining couch from the room. They efficiently removed the old carpet and saved a piece for my use elsewhere. They removed the backing and staples, and cleaned the surface before installing the new padding and carpet.

The final product is perfect for our family room as it accentuates our brick hearth which holds the wood stove, and blue wall paper. The pattern and colors is light enough in the room. Each day following the installation we have further appreciated the texture and pattern, and commend Craig for his earlier feedback.

While the scheduled delay was disappointing, we knew it could not be avoided.

I used Abbey Carpet & Floor to get new carpets for my entire second floor. Jillian was a pleasure to talk to and was great at answering my questions and sharing opinions when I was having trouble deciding between carpets. They're also incredibly helpful with swatch's letting you take them home to better picture them in your house. I was also able to connect with them not only over the phone, but over email, which was a great plus for me.

As of when I post this (in case this changes) they also have 12 month interest free financing available and Jillian was great at helping me apply for that and answering my questions. I was able to finance the entire thing, or just a portion of it.

For the install itself, the installers were here between 8AM and 2PM and were able to do my entire second floor and move my furniture around. They were incredibly friendly and did a fantastic job, the carpets look great, I had the entire second floor, including closets and the stairs carpeted. They walked me through and had me double check they moved the furniture back to the right spots, and happily moved the furniture that was put back wrong to the proper spot when I pointed it out.
