ZERO STARS! I was so excited to order a Margarita Pizza. I rarely eat out and rarely see this on menus. The female was rude and surprised when I asked for the total… I was told one price and then charge waaaay more when I picked it up. I didn’t tip due this vibe and I always tip. I received a soggy and barely cooked crust, with chewy cheese blobs and no fresh real basil!!! You don’t have to be Italian to know Margarita pizza should be made with fresh basil. Instead maybe to cut corners, save $3, they put sprinkles of dried tasteless basil, more black less green, resembling pepper. A few of the pepperonis were tough to chew and had a funny stale taste. Beware!!! True life restaurant nightmare at play here. What you see for Margarita pizza on their site is not what you get; pictures not real. Fresh basil means fresh…whole leaves from the plant; not dried, stale, flavorless, shelf stable basil!! I’m never going back! I could have cooked this better myself. Really glad I brought the puppies along! The food at this place is gross! I highly DON’T recommended it!!! Spend the money to make it yourself and take the time to make it the right way or Chipotle! :/ We all know an apology copy and pasted without change is a not a genuine apology! Change your methods and customers will change their eating behaviors; and might come back. Personally, I’ll come back when a new restaurant buys you out!

I had such a great experience with Ashland Pizza Palace! This pizza was pepperoni with green peppers and black olives. Absolutely delicious, loaded with fresh toppings, generous amounts of cheese, and a perfect balance of flavors. Every bite felt like it was made with love. Truly one of the best pizzas I’ve had in a while. Highly recommend Ashland Pizza Palace if you’re looking for quality, flavor, and care in every slice!

Came in on a Sunday at lunch time. Was able to get 2 slices of pepperoni pizza that was hot and fresh. Also grabbed a cold 12oz Coke. Staff was working well together and kept the flow going nicely. This is my first time here. The pizza is good, cooked evenly, and had a good flavor profile. Would definitely come back.

The literal embodiment of any townie, obsolete Anytown, USA pizza shop. Just about everything they offer is so subpar and forgettable, you'll have to look at your credit card receipt to double check if you received your food and ate already. The staff, however, is not forgettable, as after dealing with them, I have a full understanding of why people will pay way more to order online. The only tiny saving grace here is their prices are as low as they were in the 1980's, but I highly suspect it's because they're giving you the same tired food and menu from the 1980's, and hey at least it's consistent, all the way down to the "frozen in time" decor of a 30 year old pizza shop with "classic" neon bright walls, ugly booths, and metal racks of chips that always seem to be in the way. If you're hungry, definately just keep driving a little further down the road. If you want to have a museum visit with the kids, and show them the exact recreation of when mommy and daddy had pizza together when they were dating 25 years ago, right down to the kids being able to experience, eat, and see the exact replica of food that their parents ate when they were the same age as them, then, by all means, bring the little ones in for a learning experience and a trip back in time. Similar to 1950s replica diners, drop in to Pizza Palace to travel back in time to experience first hand, what any pizza shop in anywhere, America, looked like in the year 1982. Don't forget to head to the "gift shop" to experience first hand exactly what pizza, pastas, and the newly discovered submarine sandwiches tasted like in the year 1982!, before it was discovered that these foods could actually taste different and separate from the other pizza shops around it. Grab a Mr. Pibb or R.C. cola and stop on in to satisfy that craving for nostalgia, unfortunately not your food craving, but I assure you, after just the one visit back, you'll be okay forgetting it exists again for another twenty years until it's time for another visit there to possibly open a time capsule.., and letting this pizza castle fade back into the background fake "fish tank" style, skyline scene it's more suited for. Think of this place as more the background pixelated sports crowd of any video game prior to 1995. It serves its only purpose in Ashland by being a solid object that separates the Ashland skyline from the ground, or as a "land mark" to tell people asking for directions where to turn left to get to the animal clinic there, as well as the road that will turn you out of there and headed in another direction towards actual food good for eating. Not for an experiment in illustrating what the simpler life looked like prior to social media food photos and people's desire to want tasty food that doesn't maintain the same exact flavor and texture throughout entire passing decades, literally like a preserved slab of Astronaut ice cream. Which given the choice between that and Pizza Palace food, Id have to opt for the ice cream and then would go check on what the dogs across the street at the animal clinic were eating instead, cause at the very least, I know they're eating different tasting and better quality dog food than they were a decade ago, but sadly i can't say the same for this "palace" of pizza that's so frozen in yesteryear that I'm surprised there's not a Cuban flag up to pay homage to the ability of reliving a single locked year of nostalgic American history over and over again, like some horrifying pizza palace version of "Groundhogs Day," where one is forced to consume the exact same taste for over three decades, which to be honest, sounds a hell of a lot more scarier than the original version. But i guess the horror motif fits, as their phone number comtains 666, the number of the devil, which is very helpful in explaining how this place has stayed in business for so long with this bland, boring food; they must've made a Faustian deal with the devil and offered their souls to stay open. It's the only way I can conceive how they are able to sell that...

You have to go by late reviews with this place. You read that they've changed owners on line a few times. It seems like the later reviews seem accurate because after going to Nick's and Pizza Mine, I've been disappointed in their pizza. It just seems like any place near Ashland Center just can't deliver good Italian Style New York Pizza. However, if you're willing to drive to Hopkinton, Blue Square, although more expensive, delivers an amazing gourmet pizza. But there are nights I don't want to drive to Hopkinton, so with the latest reviews here for Ashland Pizza Palace, we gave them numerous more chances that yielded a great experience recently. Now their Pizza is Greek Style, not Italian, but it's wonderful. Very good in the zest of the sauce, wonderfully cheezy and the toppings were terrific. So I've been back there more than a few times. My wife likes their Greek Salad with Chicken. We had good luck with Pizzaville in Southborough Salad wise, but got turned off by undercooked chicken that was pink on the inside twice. They also screwed up delivery orders twice. So we stopped going there. I absolutely LOVE Marathon Deli. But as phenomenal as their food is, they are pricey. Last week, I took my 87 year old Aunt to Ashland Pizza Palace after she had a Colonoscopy and we ate there. They knew what I was dealing with regarding my Aunt and without me asking anything from them brought our Subs to our table and were very attentive to us. I heard the nice girl who took our order say "That order is for here." My Steak Sub and her Tuna Sub were delivered very promptly. So the Subs were great. The service was great. Orders over the past 3 months were were also great. The place has nice paper menus and nice modern signs showing their many food options. The Rest Room was also very clean. So across the board over the past 3 months, this place is getting high marks from me review wise. One final thing. Their prices post pandemic are without question the most reasonable around Ashland Center. I've seen so many restaurants around here raise their prices during and after the pandemic and not come down since inflation has come down. This place has REASONABLE prices. I hope that their consistency continues going forward as they have become our Go-to place for Pizza, Salads and Subs. It seems as though the competition around this area charge more than these guys do or they don't focus on the quality of the food as much as these guys do. And when you want to get a 3 topping Pizza, you're looking at $26 to pay for it from one of their competitors. These guys don't gouge their customers. As I said earlier, these guys are the best Pizza and Sub Shop closest to Ashland Center. My one and only complaint is that they're closed Sundays. I think that's great that they give their workers Sundays off. But they really should look at that considering many people want take out or delivery on Sundays....especially during Football Season when Wings and Pizza are necessary. I made the mistake of driving over there one recent Sunday and found out they were closed. Overall we love you guys....Keep up the fantastic work. I'm sure I'll be back as will many of your...

Ive been ordering from here for years, at least 5 solid years since i moved in down the street and before just occasionally. Its been a go-to for quick pizza and up until tonight, I've not been as disappointed as I am now. It seems every time I order, which has become less, my orders are little worse each time. The pizza used to be a lot better, and the food used to be pretty consistent. Not great, but definitely good. The dough is not the same and it's very bland and dry and theres always one issue or another with the food. I always order the same things because I have kids and I enjoy the same orders but it's the last time I order a calzone. Way too much cheese on top. No crisp just mounds of more cheese. Used to be just right. Before this, it was chicken tenders, that got worse and filled with less chicken and too much super hard over fried breading. I had to stop ordering other things for same reason. they same foods get a little worse each time. Steak and cheese- no more, antipasto salads-no more, French fries-no more, potato skins-once and never again. Over 5 years it changed. I get simple orders and the same things and I tip appropriately every time it's delivered and I'm not far away. The service has never bothered me and they deliver correctly almoat every time. Not sure what happened or what is happening but I've run out things to order from my once reliable Pizza Palace, besides cheese pizza, which as I said, used to be A LOT better just a couple years ago but at least it's better than the other 2 pizza...
