Cherry Blossom — Restaurant in Ashland

I'm a big fan of Chinese food whether it is the Americanized fast food version or authentic cuisine.

This place is definitely geared towards the Americanized fast food version and unfortunately is nothing to write home about.

I placed an order and was told it would be ready in 10 minutes. Despite being there in only 8 minutes it was already in the bag ready to go. Not a good start considering the only way that food made it into that bag so quickly is if it was reheated in the microwave.

I was starving so I decided to try a little of everything while I was still in the parking lot. The reason for this detail is to know there's no excuse it went bad during my drive.

Of course I can't say for sure whether or not this stuff was microwaved or just cooked very quickly but I will say that almost everything was either very dry if warm, or room temperature.

the chicken wings were soggy and the lo mein had an off-putting taste (pool of liquid at the bottom of the container as well).

the mediocre items included the beef teriyaki crab rangoons and chicken fingers.

Very disappointing considering I was looking forward to trying this place. Don't recommend and won't be going back again.

The reason for two stars is that I bet some of the mediocre items would taste better had...

ASHLAND PIZZA NOT CHERRY BLOSSOM! !! NEXT DOOR

We ordered 2 large pizzas. When we arrived to pick them up the young lady behind the counter went looking for the slip. Finally she located the slip and said they were working on it. Actually they hadn't even put it in yet. There had to have been 8 to 10 different people behind the counter. I don't think any one of them knew what the other one was doing. So anyways I went back out to my vehicle and sat for another 15 minutes. I went back in again I stated I was there to pick up 2 large pizzas again she went looking. So I waited and waited some more another 10 minutes. I watched them pull pizza after pizza out of the ovens Finally after watching one of them pull a pizza out from under a 2 pizza order with the slip in the top box and give it to another costumer along with a bag of sandwiches or whatever I had have enough and walked out. Total time wasted there trying to get my order was 50 minutes. Next time we want a pizza we are going to give pizza bella a shot it's just down the...

I have lived in this community for over 25 years..Cherry Blossom was a staple...not much now. Went to restaurant to order..it was well past lunch, but my intention was for dinner. The only patrons were at the bar. I was told by attendant's it would be 10 -15 minutes... my thoughts were that order would be fresh and hot..not so much!! I ate food that was without a double left over and reheated..not happy!! I totally understand that restaurants are taking a huge hit due to todays circumstances, I would rather see a more limited menu and fresher food. Liquor does not have the same shelf life..bar is happy..restaurant not do much.."...
