Target — Local services in Athens-Clarke County Unified Government

I love Target but this one in particular, I will never go to simply based off a phone call experience. I called to inquire whether or not they had an Xbox in store and I was told numerous times to check online instead of them being able to just look and see if they had one on the shelf, I have never been told “I can’t tell you that over the phone” Once I asked to speak with a manager, this woman said “I am the manager” I asked for her name and she hung up in my face. I called back again and spoke with Darby, lovely lady who told me in fact that they did not have any in store but to check online to find availability and quantities. THANKS DARBY! The only one in your store who could confirm you didn’t have one in store. Which is all I asked for to begin with instead of getting “I can’t tell you over the phone”. And whoever this Lead Team Member is, that hung up in my face, should reconsider their job field because if you can’t handle difficult customer situations, this ain’t the job for you. They have 2 security guards in there during the day for some crazy reason, the markup is INSANE (I'm pretty sure they don't have any period products in there for less than $13 a pack), the produce usually looks terrible, and the self checkout is never open. I thought a downtown grocery store was supposed to be welcoming and convenient, and this is one is anything but. Good luck getting around all the giant restock carts that they leave in the aisles, if you're not being profiled and followed by security. And after that you'll need to be prepared to wait in line because there's only ever one cashier working at a time, even though there are 4...

I would add that sometimes the prices displayed are not correct and you are charged for a different amount. Maybe a discrepancy with the system records and display prices but they need to sort it out. It's less about how many cents or dollars the difference is and more about the trust I placed in them and not have to recheck my bills. I would appreciate getting that sorted.
