Bought a pair of Callaway golf shoes in September. About the first of January the sole on one shoe started coming off. I tried to glue it back but it wouldn't hold. Went to Dunhams today to see if I could exchange. Spoke to the cashier and who I suppose was a manager. Was told that they only guaranteed the shoes for 60 days, and I would have to contact the manufacture. Well like most folks, I pay no attention to details when buying shoes. I'm sure if they told me there was a 60 day guarantee on the shoes, that's correct, BUT I still bought the product from YOU, not Callaway. I bought it from YOU, and YOU should stand behind YOUR product, regardless of YOUR in store guarantee. If I can call Callaway, can't you????????? Now that would be customer service, but not there. Anyway I'll get in touch with Callaway and see what happens, but in a small town, sometimes you have to do things just a little bit different, because word will travel fast. Just because it says it's this way, doesn't mean you can't do a little extra. It's the difference between a repeat customer and a lost customer. Guess which one I am.
UPDATE. After submitting this review, I contacted Callaway via their website. They too have a 60 day return policy. I contacted them anyway, and yesterday evening a new pair of golf shoes were mailed out to me. About a 4 hour turn around. THAT'S CUSTOMER SERVICE, and that's why I will continue to be a repeat customer...
Read moreI would give it 0 stars if I could. My daughter and I visited the Athens store I had saw some sandals in the sale paper. When we got to the store they only had one style to choose from. I decided to go to the front to look for sale paper to make sure that I had looked at the right shoes. On the way to the front I was almost ran down by an employee pushing stock on a 2 wheeler. I moved over out of her way and never heard her say a word. Meanwhile I went to the front, got a sale paper, and was given a dirty look by the cashier. I explained that I just wanted a sale paper. I began to look through it and started to turn around and go back to the shoe section when same employee with 2 wheeler can behind me and I stepped back at the same time. I apologized and heard her mumble as she pushed away. I looked at my daughter and said what did she say. I then decided I would never buy from this store again. Rude employees and I only saw 3 in the whole store and it was 1 oclock on a Saturday afternoon. Do yourself a favor and take your business...
Read moreBetter than my first time. Now things were advertised on their app and not in the store. I had originally went up there for a pair of "Aqua" gloves. Gloves you wash dishes in are not "Aqua Gloves." These are a specific type glove. I needed also a life jacket for my kayak. Who figured all they would have was a very few and only sized for children. If you sell kayaks you should have the needed equipment to go with that sale. This Walmart sells kayaks. I'm still trying to figure out how to use their on line purchasing this is new to me. The online ordering is free shipping for over $35.00. The life jacket totaled $28 and some change. Go figure. It appears if I want something cheaper I have to spend more to get it on line than flat out buying it in thr store. Do not misunderstand. I had bought a motorcycle helmet with the help of the Walmart in Athens Tennessee. Then had it delivered to the front door 200 miles away. Great deal on line. Could not have done it myself. But the store in Sweetwater Tennessee is something...
