I had two poor customer service experiences that confirmed that I will not return. I decided to make every effort to shop here with my family and when one of my family members needed to use the rest room they were denied access. We were told they did not have a bathroom that could be used which in turn ended out shopping experience and turn into a crying spell for my disabled child. The shop clerk was not at all accommodating to allow for the smaller family to use the rest room at all. iAd the attempted to reach the management to inform them of our unsavory experience and when I called I identified myself and asked for the general manager and they guy who answered said “that is me, I asked him his name and he sounded annoyed and hung up the phone. I called right back and asked for the general manager and was told he was gone. I explained to the women who answered the phone that he was just on the phone with me no more than a minute ago, she then stated he was not available. First time visiting this “market.” Horrible service, the vegetables looked like they were about to mold and wilt into death. Some items are WAAAY OVERPRICED. Did I mention how horrible and rude the cashier was? One rang while the other stood behind me as if I was about to use fake currency and proceeded to sing horribly as I re-packed my items into the bags correctly. Wait a minute?! (There’s a LOYALTY CARD??) The cashier DID NOT MENTION/ASK/PROMOTE it 😕. I can get horrible service and subpar products on Metropolitan Ave/Cleveland Ave. Guess my expectations were set too high for this experience. Def will NOT...

Stopped by today and loved it. I am local and had been meaning to try this place for a while. Of course I want to support local businesses but that can sometimes be hard when they have to compete with supermarket prices, but this store has a half off discount on produce if you buy with EBT and it really makes it feel like they want to support the local people too. I was also able to get just about everything on my list and everyone was very nice and the coffee shop was adorable. Coming from a barista myself, I loved the chai latte I got....
