T.J. Maxx never seems to be my go to shopping place. Everytime I come here I always find the exact same things. No matter the time of year or how many years have gone by I always find the exact same things on the shelves. There is little to no variety in both the clothes, shoes and jewelry. I see customers coming in and out but it always looks as if the place has been abandoned and no one has bought anything. Some of the clothes are one of a kind.... IN A BAD WAY. I'll find a piece of clothing I like, but it's hard to find the exact same thing in a better size. Which gives the place a thrift store vibe. The prices are really high, reasonably so I guess since a lot of things are name brand. I would not recommend this place to anyone...

It was closing time and she was literally kicking us out even though we were already in line with our items. I told her we were helping her make the sale and she said she didn't need it because she doesn't get commission which I am aware of but that's not something you say to a customer out of respect. Having said that, I was returning a $20 bracelet that broke after 3 days of wear.
After being told it could be fixed by re-hooking the links (I knew that), I said "yes, but how many times will I have to do that?" I got a sermon on how NOT to wear jewelry, and the things jewelry was not supposed to experience, I.e. the shower, the beach, etc. 😳
While i appreciated the insight, I am 63 years old, and I'm pretty sure I have figured out how to wear my jewelry. 😉
