THIS PLACE BREATHES INCOMPETENCY, UNPROFESSIONALISM, and LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. If there was a way to give zero stars I would choose that option. I visited this location on a Tuesday and was pretty much just shopping around but I found something I was interested in and I spoke with a salesman. I told him my price range and he gave me numbers way over my budget. After sitting there with my fiancé and infant son for hours, we decided to leave. The numbers were in our scope of budget so we left and started looking other places. We went home afterwards and got a text from the salesman we were working with stating he could get us in the price range we wanted (why he didn't do this while we were there, I don't know) but we ignored the text. The next day he called and said we could do the deal and we needed to come in that day. Well, we didn't want to but he made it seem imperative; so we went. The salesman provides us with no paperwork yet asks us for proof of insurance. He then states he got us 5 dollars below the rate we were not willing to pay...5 dollars. That's it. We took the deal only because we have been looking for a car awhile and needed something ASAP. We made a down payment that day, which is now Thursday (2 days after our initial visit). Because we we're using a co signer we did not sign paperwork that day. We we're told it would be gassed up, detailed , and ready to go on Saturday. We had to return on Saturday, which was fine with us. We arrive Saturday with our co signer and the salesman then asks for our paystubs. Never told us about this previously so we could be prepared. He claims he didn't know he needed to our paystubs (How? You're selling a car!) Luckily, we had that on hand. We sign papers and then we are told that the keys to the car we just signed for are locked in the service room and they could not get them so they provided us with a car until Monday. The salesman stated that the car would be ready at 12 noon. I arrive Monday at 12 noon and tell the receptionist that I'm there to pick up my car I signed for on Saturday. She looks at me confused. I told her the keys were locked in the service center and I was told return at this time to pick them up. She calls the salesman and he greets me to say that the car handle and issue with the door and it needed to be repaired. Never knew about this issue or repair. I was then told that it would be ready later that day (still Monday). I never received a phone call so I went up there again only to find out that the part had not yet been received and it would arrive the next day (Tuesday) and the car would be ready. The finance manager gave me is phone number to contact him personally for updates. Well... today is Tuesday. I called around 4:30 (location closes at 7) and was told that the car would be ready at 6:30. Someone calls us and says "hey we can drive the car out to you. We are on the way. See you soon". We live 15 min or less from this location. 1 hour passes, no call. 2 hours pass no call. At this point, it's closing time. We call the salesman and he says "we can't bring the car. We have to get manager approval first and it needs detailing" CLICK!!!! I hang up. HOW? How! WHY? This place is EXTREMELY unprofessional and lacks any concern for the customer. You've had my down payment since THURSDAY. There was more than enough time to handle anything wrong with this vehicle. To not even be told about the door situation and fed some BS excuse that the keys were in service displays a lack of communication. No one ever wants to give you a call back, you have to call them only to hear that what they said would be taken care of, is not handled. I am involving my lawyer in this matter, the contract is being reviewed as we speak to determine my rights a a consumer. I've contacted corporate to file a complaint toward this franchise and I plan on making it known in every platform I have that this place is as bad as the reviews say that are. BUYER BEWARE! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ABSOLUTELY ANYONE TO KIA OF AUBURN.

Recently purchased a Kia K4 with this place and nothing but issues from the start. I am aware once known there were issues we should have never continued however we truly did not think it would go this way.

We originally inquired about a telluride or sportage of which lead us to our first issue Michelle Marie Vazquez. As far as sales goes she is very rude and pushy. As we continue to discuss the wants in said vehicle my phone is being blown up with phone calls between her number as well as numbers from the business, with a very pushy an snooty attitude.

She pulls the gun for the sportage as agreed upon and then tells us we need a more base model. Telling us with our agreed money down the vehicle would be $700 monthly of which was for a sportage. All while our 2 phones are being blown up back to back and receiving texts back to back we get informed we got approved on a K4 for $700 monthly. We had talked about going to a used vehicle of which magically the links never were received and sold within less than 12 hours? To which we were informed it was on a white k4 gt-line with the red interior. I had spoken with the finance manager asking if that was with $$ down or without of which was told without. We took time to inquire about pricing of other vehicles to which left some time between vehicles and more nagging from her and the finance manager.

Here is where it gets good. From the very first moment of speaking they have asked about a trade in of which we had told them no. We do not have or will be using a trade in at all. We agree to follow with an agreed k4 Ek for $0 down $700 monthly of which we agreed upon. They had asked again about a trade in of which we said AGAIN FOR THE 1,009 time. NO TRADE IN. the paperwork gets signed and the vehicle is picked up on January 18th. Lo and behold on January 24th we start reviving more messages from her stating to contact management. Unfortunately the only one who signed works evenings so is difficult to get ahold of during their operating hours. Her and the financial manager are both cocky and rude as well as pushy.

Come two-three days ago Mr Taylor and Mr Joshua management contact being very snippy in regards about the vehicle. They were to get the vehicle back due to the bank not receiving a trade in or it were to be brought in. How is there anything to do with a trade in when it was not mentioned? How is there a value when we never mentioned another vehicle? How is this vehicle being taken back over a trade in which was told that there wasn’t one from day 1? From the start I had told them the current situation I am in and we had mentioned no trade in but they of course just continue to be snippy. I had to get the other key of which a Time had to be arranged for and figure out what to do. I told them I would bring the vehicle tonight regardless and they got upset due to being behind past closing hours. Excuse me as you are upset over being 30 minutes late to leaving work opposed to now currently having no home, no car, and no job due to your employee’s.

I recently had a disappointing experience at Kia of Auburn. On 02/18/25, I called to schedule a vehicle service for 02/28/25 and mentioned that my vehicle purchase included a tint service. Chad, a manager at the dealership, confirmed that they would honor the tint deal if I could provide proof. Since I was at work, I asked if he could verify it on his end, and he called back shortly after confirming that they indeed owed me the tint. We proceeded to schedule the appointment based on the availability of their tint technician.

On the day of my appointment, I dropped off my vehicle and was told I would be notified when it was ready. I received a text from Brandon informing me that the vehicle was ready, but they were unable to complete the tint service because their tint technician, Charles, was no longer with the company. This was extremely disappointing, as I had rearranged my schedule and taken time off work, which was difficult since I was out of town. I had to arrange for someone to drop me off at the dealership.

When I arrived, Brandon handed me the paperwork and told me to wait. After mentioning I had called in advance, I ended up waiting for an hour with my toddler. Finally, Taylor Rowell, the General Sales Manager, came to speak with me and informed me that the time period for the tint service had expired. I expressed my frustration, explaining that I had taken time off work and scheduled the appointment a week in advance, only to be told this after waiting for an hour. Taylor responded by telling me to “calm down,” even though I was not being rude, just disappointed. He also mentioned that he would need to search through files, which made it seem like it would take a lot of time, further testing my patience.

Taylor’s handling of the situation left me feeling undervalued and disrespected. He mentioned that all records were sent to Kia in LaGrange and suggested that I could speak to his manager if I wanted. His response made it clear that either he or his manager could assist me, but I know there are more people within the business hierarchy who could help resolve the issue.

Additionally, I later found out that my relative was initially approved by Kia to purchase a car, but Kia manipulated the system to push her into a loan from a different lender. This not only led to her paying more for the car but also allowed the dealership to earn a higher commission. Such unethical practices are concerning and unprofessional, and I will encourage my relative to pursue legal action if necessary.

This entire situation could have been avoided with better communication and professionalism. I would have been happy to pay for the tint service if I could have simply seen proof of the deal. Instead, I left feeling overlooked, disrespected, and unappreciated. As a business owner myself, I understand how negative experiences can harm a business, and I certainly did not expect to experience this at...
