We were traveling from San Francisco to Reno and just happen to pull off at the Old Town Auburn exit. It was a cool little area with shops and restaurants. After using the public restrooms and taking some pictures of the area we started back to the car and stumbled onto The Candy Cave. My wife picked out some swedish candies and gummies. I got some salted pecan turtles. The worker/owner behind the counter was super nice and we spoke with her for a little while. Definitely glad we stopped and stumbled across.

This place is AWESOME!!! The owner is super sweet, just like the delicious sweets available. They also have a huge honey selection, olive selection, delicious pasta options, and so much more. They even have fun games and tables to hang out and eat your snacks.

This place is AWESOME!!! The owner is super sweet, just like the delicious sweets available. They also have a huge honey selection, olive selection, delicious pasta options, and so much more. They even have fun games and tables to hang out and eat your snacks.

The candy selection is amazing. Lisa has chocolate candy, sour candy, gummies, ice cream, gumballs, sugar free candy options, etc, there is a candy and sweets for everyone. This place is fantastic and the price is just right, Lisa the owner is fantastic and loves to chat with her customers. There are also sitting areas for people to go and hangout and play a game or two of whatever they like. Please go check...

Amazing experience! Such a friendly family, great options and variety, as well as a personable owner. The shop is quite close to home and I’ve made a couple trips already. I see this becoming a dangerous habit but I love supporting small and it’s the best place for a sweet treat/ pick me up! I hope Lisa and The Candy Cave...
