We found this wonderful place and it's amazing staff while celebrating our anniversary. We did a couples package of NSRS. I am unable to explain briefly, but it was so bonding and helpful to each of us as individuals at the same time. We have never had any of these types of therapies in our lives. Some I have heard of and others not. We were so tired and relaxed like jello after our session, we decided to come back the next day for the rest of of Wellness package we purchased. We were give tea & a drink both days. Plus some delicious snacks during our Detox foot bath. We actually started our day by attending Yoga Church on Sunday morning. Wow, taking care of your body & spirt is a new church concept to me! After the class, we began by braving our 1st cold plunge & then 30 minutes in the infrared sauna. Then the foot detox, and last we chilled out on the salt cave. I was so surprised by how this was set up. There are couches & swings. But, the floor is like a sandbox filled with pink salt. I got down & played like I was at a beach, after a short nap. I could feel something while inside, but after was surprisingly helpful. I was breathing so clear that night and didn't get stuffed up, like I normally do. Last, Cortney did some work on my intestines. And without being too descriptive, I am still feeling the effects days later! The staff warned us that we may feel tired and possibly flu like because of all the detoxification we did. But, for 2 days other than being really tired at the end of the day. I did not experience my chronic pain, which was almost unbelievable, but true. I have been home and back to some stress, so just today I feel a little fatigued & some minor pains. But, overall I have to thank each and everyone of them for the beautiful physical & emotional healing. I am in Elk Grove area, but will be making the drive up for more treatment. The package we did was an experience we will never forget & will always be grateful for. But, opening my eyes and heart this muti- modality bodywork is priceless. I admit I wouldn't have been ready or accepting of trying this in my past. But, I am anxious to return to have them guide me to better health. I have been ill with Autoimmune disorders for over 20 years that western medicine has done almost nothing that has helped me. I will update my review after I can start going back. Thanks again to everyone who made our time there...
Read moreI had high hopes for The Sweetest Little Life Wellness Center, but I’m deeply concerned about the Elixir Bar and its lack of transparency regarding ingredients. Many of the drinks contain “Golden Glow,” which contains kratom, a substance that is highly addictive and notoriously difficult to detox from.
When I brought my concerns to the owner, she dismissed them, asking me to stop “spreading fear” on her page. This response is not only dismissive but shows a troubling lack of accountability for the potential dangers of kratom.
The owner claims the kratom she uses is different from what is sold in smoke shops, but this is simply not true. The kratom used here is the same brand found at local smoke shops. Kratom is commonly referred to as “gas station heroin,” and is known for its dangerous side effects, including dependency, withdrawal symptoms, and other adverse health risks.
To make matters worse, there’s no mention on the menu that kratom is an ingredient in the drinks. This is deceptive marketing and could put unsuspecting customers at serious risk, especially those who are unaware of the substance’s potential dangers.
Kratom’s risks are well-documented, and the lack of transparency combined with the owner’s unwillingness to engage in a responsible conversation about its dangers is unacceptable. Wellness should prioritize safety and informed choices—this establishment fails on both fronts.
I cannot recommend The Sweetest Little Life Wellness Center until transparency and responsibility are...
