Happy Wok — Restaurant in Auburn

I called my order in over the phone to avoid their automatic service fee for online orders. The woman who took my order told it would be done in 20 minutes. 30 minutes later the woman at the front (not the one with whom I placed my order) decided she could not find my order anywhere and that it must not have been made. (All that timer an Uber eats driver was waiting on an order also... that food was sitting there the entire 10 minutes we had waited there together, just getting cold. I went home. I called on my way home to complain and somehow they had found my food. So, almost all the way home, I turned around and went all the way back (ice cream melting in the car). The lady who took my order was there. She was rude and told me I needed to be nicer, that it was just a mistake. She claimed she had been in the back making my order. Horrible Customer Service! I have eaten at Happy Wok many times in the past but will no longer go back after the experience we had Sunday. We went there for a friend's birthday with a large group. Instead of seating us all along the one empty wall tables where we could have sat together (we had 20 people). He sat us at 2 large round tables and one table on the wall. Then when we went to order and told him who was on what check he was extremely rude and told us you should have sit by each other, (hello you seated us this way). He was extremely frustrated and took it out on us the customers. It was very tempting to just get up and walk out but it was our friends birthday so we made the best if a bad situation and laughed it off. I go to Happy Wok every Monday for lunch with a friend. This "Lunch meeting" was initially intended to always go to a different restaurant in Auburn every week. Once we ate at Happy Wok for the first time, we started going there every couple of weeks, and then it eventually became the only place we go to every Monday. The food is delicious, the staff is VERY friendly and attentive (they always greet us and ask us how we are doing, and we don't even get menus anymore because they know what we want!), and the atmosphere is a nice, relaxing environment.

The sesame chicken is always perfectly breaded, the hot and sour soup is INCREDIBLE, and you'll leave full without breaking the wallet. Best Chinese restaurant in...
