A most lovely playground, clean and fun and the kids totally loved it! From the little choo-choo train to the playground running along side the train tracks was wonderful to experience - especially when the freight train came rolling along blowing it's horn while my grandchildren happily played ALL ABOARD. Then there was the massively tall multi-slide / faux tree house which was especially a fun feature for them to experience. Plus the charm of being downtown positioned beneath the beautiful oak trees . . . a MUST VISIT AGAIN kind of park/playground. Much appreciation to the City of Auburndale from a Lakeland resident.

This is our favorite park in the area! Great for parties. Bathrooms are pretty clean and always open when we are there. There is an ice cream shop right across the street for sweet treats, and the train drives by for all the kids to run to and wave to. (By the way-there is a group of teenagers that loiter about, but you can just inform the authorities and they will come make them leave…so I’ve heard…)

It’s an okay park, the only problem I’ve experienced is some of the parents. There’s a bigger section for kids ages 5-12 and the smaller section is for the younger ones. For some reason people like to bring their babies and toddlers into the big kids part? And in the bigger area there are lots of kids running up and down the steps and around in the grass and then the little ones get run over and hurt. I’ve seen toddlers get hit from walking in front of swings and falling down steps. And then the parents come and blame the older kids and their parents. If you don’t want your kids getting hurt go to the...

Great playground for kids of all ages, with colorful and inviting new equipment. Almost never crowded. There is a kids wood train where my daughter loves to hang out with her new friends, and outside the metal and brick fence there's a real train track that runs along the edge of the playground, which my daughter gets excited about when a freight train passes by us. Large mature oak trees cover the whole area. How nice during the summer! It also has convenient clean restrooms. Overall the park is well maintained, clean with...
