So I go into the store and as usual I walk around for a while without being greeted by a representative. I already know what shoes I am buying since I always buy the same 3 pairs at a time. I end up with a very nice representative ended up buying 4 pairs. 3 of which are in stock so I took them with me and the 4th on order, (rang up separately). 4th pair never made it. called the store got the tracking number,long story-short someone took the package. I told Aldo just to send me another pair and the response was "no that's not how it works" ??? "We refund the pair that you did not receive and you order a new pair again" Ok, so this must be the policy. Well this was January and now we are in August I still have no refund and no shoes!!! Called the store and told them I live 2.5 hours away so I needed a return label. The GM told me I have to call customer service so that they can provide me with return labels. I called customer service and was told they don’t do exchange through the phone since I bought the item in the store so I have to go back to the store for me to be able to exchange it. Called the store again and they said that’s the best option they can give me. That they can do the refund once I am back in the store. Too much stress and it’s not even my mistake. Read moreI had a very bad experience at the Aldo store in Chicago Premium Outlets, Aurora. I bought shoes a week ago and went to return them with the original receipt, which clearly mentioned a 60-day return policy. However, the lady at the counter rudely refused the return and said they wouldn’t take it back no matter what.
When I showed her the printed policy, she still argued and said, “You should read the message at our counter before buying.” That was shocking — it means Aldo doesn’t even adhere to the return policy mentioned on their own receipts!
Even after calling the manager, they only agreed to return one item without any valid reason. The staff’s rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful behavior completely ruined my impression of Aldo.
Very disappointed with their false return policy and poor customer service. I will never shop...
