I went to JT to give them another try after a poor first experience with them. I called and made an appointment for myself and two friends. Two of us got a full set and a pedicure, the other got a dip set. The dip set is the only one that came out looking anything remotely like the picture. My pedicure was fine and the young man who did them was nice. During my pedicure they started putting the tips on for the full set in order to save time since we had a later appointment. I asked for my nails to be shorter at least 4 times and was told “it will be shorter” thinking that he would file them down after shaping. They were not. As you can see, the gentleman who did my full set did not care much to spend the time on the design I had asked for. Oh, and I was charged $25.00 for this simple design. My friend who also got a full set had a design that took more time than the one I had asked for and was only charged $10. The nail length I have shown in the picture I filed down myself because they were not the length I was wanting or had asked for. Not sure what pictures they use for their google business listing, but I did not receive the same quality. Fairly disappointing given they had a similar design in the pictures on google, thought it could be done with ease but did not meet the expectations I had going in today. Also, my friend who also got a pedicure received gel instead of regular polish that was not cured under the UV light so it rubbed off after putting her socks on. I've been here 3 times now, and had a very inconsistent experience. My first visit was on a busy Saturday and went pretty well. They had someone organizing who was doing what, and things went smoothly. We all liked how our nails came out.

The second visit was on a weeknight, not very busy. But the service was chaotic. We each had multiple people work on us, and felt very rushed. The techs were having some sort of disagreement, and we felt like we were in the middle of it.

The third visit was going to be the tie breaker, and it was not so fabulous. We went on a holiday weekend, and they were able to get us an appointment, so that went well. From there, everything felt rushed and it was hard to relax at all.

Somethings to note: They soak your whole hand all at once in a bowl of warm acetone, and then file twice. I feel like this really dries my hands out. At the end, some techs will give you cuticle oil, but not all. And you don't get lotion at all, unless you ask. I did that once and the tech grabbed the lotion from the front desk and slapped it on the table in front of me. So I guess they don't apply it either, even though any other salon in the area considers this a basic part of the application. Their colors are always darker than the sample. Maybe they use a different activator than most salons? But every color I've chosen as ended up much darker than expected. I had a copper glitter color come out dark...

I was referred there by my friend, it was my first time getting nails done and the experience was horrible, the girl who was doing my nails was EXTREMELY Rude!! It was initially hard for me to decide the shade because of the lights and I did show her the shade I wanted she argued with me about it and said that she’s using the correct shade, later when she did 1 finger I told her it’s the wrong color she bought her coworker to show it and when even she said it’s wrong so she did change the color. When she started doing it, she was not being gentle with me. She was being extremely rude and She was talking to her friend something in their native language about me, the reason I found that out was when I complained that there is something stuck in the nails, the other girl abruptly started laughing really loudly. And then when she didn’t take care of it, she left me right there without even saying anything, called the owner and he corrected a few things. She started packing up the stuff and acted as in I wasn’t there. It was too much of misbehaviour. I paid and I was also left a tip (which I shouldn’t have) but she never came to see me. It was pathetic experience. There were so many things on my nails that needed to be taken care of but no one did.
