Meijer — Local services in Aurora

The pharmacy here is terrible and under experience. I waited for them to call me over the intercom and got no notification of anything for Order being ready. I go before it got late for me to go to school. I was told that my insurance card is not found in the system. It doesn’t make sense because I showed my card before signing or paid for anything from pharmacist with them telling they accept my insurance. I had to wait additional time waiting for them to sort the issue with insurance. They asked to look at my card again and found out that they had to enter it in reverse for I.D. Card in order to find me in the system. They told me it is because that how it is entered in the state that the card provider is from. You think simply Common for a pharmacist’s and pharmacy tech would have knowledge for dealing with different insurances from all over the U.S. find another pharmacy for there is better out there. Don’t waste your time with bad service. I would give this store 3 stars for deals and products they sale here. The employees here are terrible here I would not give this anymore based on what Treatment they give customers for not lying about product change of price. It is not the customer fault for not changing their prices properly when they could change it fast enough before new day starts. Being accused of lying prices are good until the new week starts. In other words 2 hours before the new week starts is still valid and pharmacy is zero if I could give them Zero rating. Be ready to take pictures for everyday items that are on sale that goes on that week. These guys are so lazy to check price or even call the right people to confirm price. No one should be treated this way. The place not stock regularly like a real business should do. The everyday item of personal health and house hold items including big brand names and their knock off brands is not even there. The location here does not rain check items here. It is very odd that other places like jewel osco on most items. Don’t waste your time and call ahead to save yourself trouble and don’t get accused stealing or lying. If someone didn’t treat you wrong why are you treating with strong disrespectful way to a customer that was not out of line. Also there is weird guy who is claiming to be a genaration of peace academy. It is weird that he wanted donations for youth to better themselves. I gave him cash but he kept pushing for credit information. Then he told me that he needed more money for it the price went up. So I told him don’t worry it’s for the kids. He could not look me in the eye. Something is off. He walked after I made that comment. I thought you need a permit to go around for donations especially privately owned company’s property. This place is going down hill if guys walking around parking lot scamming people. He kept pushing for credit card information weird. Before you read this review, I want you to know that this is not satire. As far fetched as it seems, this is 100% true and I swear that there is no fabrication whatsoever.

-Prologue- This weekend, I came back in town from college. It was my mothers birthday. We celebrated at a PF Changs on Friday night. All was fine but I woke up to a very upset stomach. All day we were driving about finishing errands, each stop I was having diarrhea. Towards the end of this fine Saturday, I was headed to the meijer on route 59 (this location). I had been letting my stool brew and really needed to go.

-Chapter 1- We we pulled into the lot, I made quick haste into the building and headed for the restroom. As I walked in, I saw two possible stalls; one normal stall, one handicap accessible stall, both empty. Out of courtesy, I walked for the traditional stall. To my surprise, it was fully loaded to the brim with stool and toilet paper (at least the previous user wiped). This will not contribute to my rating as this part of my experience was at the mercy of a customer. In a frantic shock, I made way to the handicap accessible stall. It was fine and ready for me to use.

-intermission- For context, the toilet at this meijer is attached only to the wall, it is hovering off of the floor.

As I sat down, I felt the stall crack and fall down a little. (Assume it was perpendicular to the wall, but the angle slightly decreased). I lifted my weight and carried on. A few moments later, I decided to put the rest of my mass under the assumption that the initial feeling I had was induced by the stress of my diarrhea predicament. But once again, the toilet croaked and jutted down, most definitely falling a bit more. Out of panic, I quickly lifted my weight, wiped, and ran out of the stall with fear consuming my heart (of course I flushed, but the fear of the toilet breaking more was enough to take years off my life).

-Chapter 2- After the heartstopping experience I had in the bathroom, I made way to do my shopping. Not to bore you with details, I’ll sum it up by saying it was a calm and uninterrupted experience. However, I will carry the trauma induced in the restroom for the rest of my life.

-Epilogue- My rating stands at two stars out of five. Initially, I was furious and wanted to rate it only one star as I will be suffering from my visit for a long time. However, I give it one extra star because the gentleman who greeted me did a spectacular job at making me feel welcomed to meijer. I believe his nametag read “Lake”. If anyone of importance in the meijer chain of command happens to read this, please give Lake my regards and thanks.

Nice store was greeted nicely to day as it mothersday, hand my mother with me today I did notice flowers on the side of the greeter but just thought they where for sale due It was Mother's Day so went to get our many items and came backup saw a new person at the front he said thank you for shopping and that was it as I got in the line I notice a few mothers with flowers mind you they were not bouquets and I just ask how much were the flowers as I want to get one for my mother seeing that many had them even though I got her some roses earlier just an after thought when I saw all those with them. they told me there were free they were given out to mothers and I looked at my mother and I got quite frankly very upset because we pass twice by those people when she got nothing not even a hello maybe because she was in a wheelchair I don't know because something was wrong with her! they say Hi to me but not to her so in the end after finding out they were giving out free flowers!! I don't know what rules you have , to pick and choose the people you are given flowers to, But you sure made my mother feel horrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!! Let a lone me!!!! Knowing that all these other mothers had flowers and probly got halloes also Mr. Manager I hope your mother doesn't go shopping there in a wheel chair on mother's days in the future, and not get a flower or even so much worse not get Acknowledg'd!!!! Cause I know she would be upset not because you are the manager but because she didn't get any flowers on the special day or acknowledge!!! How small things matter even more on specific special day.
