I didn't understand the hype of this pool and why it charges for admission versus others in the area. The Northwest pool was dirty and the ledges are crumbling. The bottom of the pool was rough and needs to be refinished. The changing rooms also left much to be desired. The city has had trouble getting lifeguards this season and pools are unexpectedly closed, without explanation or notice (including right now, a Saturday PM in Sept, when the pool is supposed to be open til 7pm).
