Second Update...I can assure you me and my friend Melissa look NOTHING alike. She is 44 I am 57. She had her very long hair in a bun, I have short hair now. Even at that with my profile picture we look nothing a like. I was home getting ready for the party. She drives a white van. I drive a blue Bronco so either check your eyes or your camera feed. False accusations about identity is a serious matter. Waiting 2 wks...well people have lives and work, and well, life. Pride pictures, what are you even talking about? I do not shop based of peoples preferences nor mine. I shop for value in my money. You are defensive that is obvious and maybe because you have gotten some not so good reviews lately. I was checking my credit card statement and was paying it and saw that charge and the more I thought about it the more mad and ripped off I felt. I did not ask you for my money back, I could have, but there was a cake. I have pictures of it, I could post those on face book for all to see and ask public opinion on if it was worth what I paid. Taste well the icing was wrong for sure and people can not taste a picture. I could leave this review all over the place, yelp, face book, but I have not. You have my number if you want to contact me and I will be happy to send you current pictures of me and my friend then you can ck your cameras again. I am sure she will not appreciate this as well. I have spoken to her and she is prepared to leave her own review. She did not pay for the cake I DID, so her comments are irrelevant, the picture of the cake speaks for itself, and beauty is in the eyes of the beholder so we can let the consumers judge it's worth. I thought bringing these issues up would save someone else, OR for you to reevaluate in house, which is what most business owners would do. Instead you have poured gas on the situation which consumers will see and draw their own conclusions of who they want to do business with. Bakeries in Austin are a dime a dozen. Keeping your FB page current with the correct address is a good start. You are no longer in Pflugerville and that is false advertising. (you have several mentions of that on your page). Not going to address this with you again. You have my information. Update...After owner response....As for the cameras LIE! I did not pick it up a friend did, so me liking it never came out of my mouth. If your bakers are not more creative then maybe you need new ones? I did have a vision that I relayed to you, and it was nothing even close. Thought I was making a wise choice, hence why I left the 1 star so that doesn't happen to someone else. Looking at your reviews seems I am not alone either. I also thought for the price you charged it would be a spectacular cake, wrong again. Your response to my review will tell people what they need to know. Ordered a special made cake for my husband‘s over the hill birthday. I really gave them Baker’s discretion on what to do I had something in mind. But for what I paid for the cake I was definitely disappointed. Also I asked for buttercream icing and if that was buttercream icing it certainly didn’t taste like that it tasted like pure sugar icing. I hadn’t heard from them in a while even though I pre-ordered the cake and pay for it in full way in advance I decided I better call them just to check because I saw on their reviews where People’s cakes were even made that they had already paid for. I got worried when I called a couple of days before just to check on it and the guy put me on hold for the longest time and then I really started to panic. Also their Facebook page still advertise them being in Pflugerville which I should’ve done a little more research to realize it was really far for me but I had already paid once I figured that out. Just so many things that I could’ve gotten a better cake less expensive and more what I wanted from somewhere else. Extremely disappointed...

I ordered a cake for my sweet sixteen birthday party. I requested a cake inspired by the movie Sleeping Beauty. When my father went to pick up the cake and bring it back home for the party, I noticed that it was not what my inspiration picture looked like at all. I knew it would be more on the smaller side because it was for serving 10, but it seemed completely different from what I asked for. The first photo added was the inspiration I sent them and confirmed on the phone. The second picture was what I received. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement. The cake looked like it was forgotten about and decorated at the last minute, and half of the cake wasn't even iced. It was sloppy, and even the straw that held it together was poking out through the top. And to add to that, when my father picked up the cake, the box was smaller than the cake, meaning the lid wasn't able to close and was taped open. It's not even like the cake was huge; it's just that the box was too small for this kind of cake, and I highly doubt that's the largest box the bakery has for a cake. I was so sad that the cake I had been dreaming about my whole life was not what I ordered or wanted. If the cake wasnt $75, I wouldn't leave a review, but what I received compared to the price I paid is completely unacceptable. Pflour bakery is HANDS DOWN the best bakery in ALL of Texas ! The atmosphere, the treats, the detail & love that goes into them the vibe, the inside decor absolutely everything about this place just makes me giddy! It made me want to order 3 of each and just sit there and hang out all day LOL!!
