Let me first say, the customer service here is outstanding. Everyone is so friendly and greets you with warm welcoming smiles. For this, I give it 3 stars - the food unfortunately is what keeps it from being anything higher.

This is a lil Taco place next to a convenient store in a not so pleasant part of North Austin - has a bad rep of prostitution and drug dealing in the area and the projects are not far away.

But lets put location aside. This can be overcome with great food and of course customer service, the latter they have in spades!

I ordered two breakfast tacos, one Chorizo and Egg and one Bacon and Egg, both on Corn tortillas.

They make them fresh to order which is awesome and for 2 ingredients, only $1.75. But.... The Chorizo was absolutely disgusting! I actually could not eat it, I had to toss it in the trash. I am not sure if it was just really low quality or if it was not even a pork product but some unfamiliar meat I have not had before. I was very disappointed! The bacon was better but nothing to write home about.

As I really really wanted to like this place and from the good reviews I decided to stop by after work and grab a couple different tacos to try. I ordered the Al Pastor and Chicken Fajita tacos both on Corn tortillas.

The Al Pastor was average and there was no lime given which is odd. The chicken fajita was bland, I actually had to add salt!

The red salsa had no flavor with lots of heat but the green salsa had flavor and was good and not overpowering with heat which was nice!

As there are taco vendors/trucks/restuarants all over Austin... you really must step up to be competitive! The customer service was spot on but the food was meh to blah.

I really really wanted to like this place but unfortunately I did not and I doubt I will be returning! There are too many other options with better food and good customer service as well.

You will have to try it to form your...

First, before I start my review, I feel it's imperative to mention that I am from New Mexico. I am a spoiled brat and my standards for mexican food are immense and i've spent 2 years looking for mexican food that is on par with even the worst restaurant in my hometown.

With the above out of the way, I must say this place embodies a lot of what I am looking for in mexican food. It's for the most part a hole in the wall who's main focus appears to be on the food (whats the point of paying for atmosphere if the food isn't that great). I paid a whopping 6 dollars on the biggest burrito i've seen in texas yet. I wouldn't typically speak to the size of a burrito, quality not quantity, but living in a state who's moniker is "everything is bigger in...", the burritos in texas don't seem to fit in here. Not ñoño's, I paid 5 and some change for a monster. When I ordered I asked him if he could do my burrito chimichanga style, he offered me their Fry burrito, but I had my heart set on Barbacoa. So once my burrito came out, I was delighted to see he fried it up for me anyway. The tortilla was great quality, the rice and beans were wonderful and the barbacoa was like home.

All in all, the customer service is wonderful, despite being pretty busy they were very fast, the food was especially good and the prices are ridiculous. I have a lot of friends from NM that will adore this place. I'll absolutely be back...

First and foremost, the food here is AMAZING! This is authentic and as real as it gets. I haven’t tried a single thing from the menu that I haven’t liked! Their menu is HUGE has a wide variety and selection. Everything is fresh and made to order, and is very popular with food delivery orders (i.e., DoorDash, UberEats, Favor) as every time I’m waiting for my order, I see a steady stream of delivery drivers coming in to pick up their respective orders. To be honest, the staff is what makes this restaurant so special—each meal is made with love and made as if they were preparing it for their own family. Everyone is always friendly and delightful and greet you with a smile every time you walk in the door. Your food is handed to you piping hot each and every time. This is a very popular spot—especially for breakfast and lunch! Ñoño’s is well known in the Rundberg area and is an Austin staple for excellent food, superior staff, and honest pricing. I even know people who drive from South Austin, just to order food from here! This place is it! If you haven’t tried it, you’re missing out. I’m a repeat customer and will continue to...

The only thing that I miss about moving out of this ghetto area is the daily access to this cornerstone establishment with plethora of flavors for reasonable prices. They have the best breakfast buritto in town under $10 with the "grande buritto". You know it's a good buritto when it can stand vertically on it's own. Throw a dart at the menu and anything it lands on will be amazing. The rice, beans, tortas, chicken tinga flautas, the mexican style burgers, and even the whole chicken meals are spiced and cooked to perfection with flavorful salsa verde or a bold salsa roja with a fiery kick. The beef fajitas aren't the highest quality but comparable to most taquerias and can't be beat for the price. The only drawback of this place is the location. It is quite common to see drug deals and addicts in the area, but it has gotten better over the years. I'll risk this unsavory area for the savory food!

This place was on my list for a long time and I sad to report that I was not impressed. I ordered the Flauta Plate (pictured) and the Torta (not pictured). I was disappointed that the tortilla was not a traditional corn; instead it was a flour fried tortilla that tasted like dirty fryer oil. The lettuce was also all terribly discolored and carried lots of water onto the food. Plus point for it being hot and fresh but minus point for lack of flavor and authenticity. The rice beans were not good and not bad; pointless in my book. The torta was somewhat better but neither item was anything to write home about or order again. // I will likely give the place another shot but go for the breakfast items.

This place is definitely underrated. They sell some really authentic Mexican food and have a nice collection of menu items. The place is run by some awesome people and they serve food hot. I admit that Texmex has ruined authentic Mexican food for me but I’ll still recommend this place. Their Sopes were the best and next were the Campechanos. They accept contactless payment options like Apple Pay which is awesome. It is a tiny hole in the wall and my only complain will be - it is situated in a shady part of the town. The seating inside is supper limited and there are a few seated out front.
