I needed to purchase eight mattresses for an out of town construction crew moving to Austin and I needed to have them delivered to an apartment that my company recently rented for the crew. I called several mattress stores but decided to go with Discount Mattress at Slaughter and South 1st street due to having the best prices out of all of the stores I contacted. I spoke with Dillon who is the owner and I found him to be very knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile to meet my needs of purchasing and delivering all eight mattresses. The who transaction as well as setting up the delivery was all handled over the phone, which made it very convenient for me because I was not able to leave my job site to handle the transaction and delivery. If you are looking for down to earth people that are not pushy and truly care...look no further. I truly appreciated how Mike allowed me to test out all of the mattresses (and I do mean ALL of the mattresses multiple times) with no pressure. I didn't feel judged for my indecisiveness and I did not feel like an inconvenience when I asked clarifying questions about the different brands/models. Unlike the Mattress Firm I went to, Mike did not try and upsell me. He did not try to talk over my needs and convince me of what would "feel better"...he trusted my judgment.
