Grand Donuts — Restaurant in Austin

Amazing, consistent quality. Fast and friendly service. I love the boudin kolaches the most, but I've never been disappointed with any of the items.

The kolaches strike the perfect balance between light and filling. They are a good handful size, but the bread is soft and fluffy. The spiral style wrapping on the boudin kolache reminds me of the way I used to peel apart those Pillsbury biscuits at Thanksgiving as a kid.

The donuts are dangerously good. It's hard to resist getting one of each because they just melt in your mouth. Even later in the morning, they manage to keep a good variety stocked. I'm not personally a fan of the cake donuts, but if I'm going to eat them, I'll get them here. The eclairs are custard filled. They manage to be generous on the filling without it being too much.

As of writing this review, they are currently closed for vacation, but after being to other disappointing shops in the area, I eagerly await their reopening on July 9th. Don't sleep...

The owners are so friendly! Every morning I go there they greet me with a smile on their face. This place is run by a lovely couple.

The donuts are AMAZING! Literally, these are the best donuts ever! I don't know what they do different than other donut places, but the food here is made with superior taste and quality.

I have been eating at other donut places for years since I was young - Ken's Donuts (UT campus), Krispy Kremes, Dunkin...this Super Donut is better than all of them!

I rarely write reviews, but this morning my wife picked up my my three favorite items: ham & cheese croissant, chocolate glazed donut, and a dozen donut holes. They were all so good that I felt compelled to give them a good review this morning.

I am a snob when it comes to croissants, their flavor, texture, flakiness...but I have no complaints about the croissants this couple makes.

I highly recommend this place to anyone over any other...

I been here a few times and it has been my go too donut shop in the area!! I would highly recommend. I always prefer the mom and pop donut shops as they tend to really care about service and quality!
