Worst restaurant I've ever been to. From the time you walk in, if they are busy, expect to seat yourself and wait at least 10 minutes to be greeted or acknowledged because apparently they only have one bartender and one server that work Friday nights. Once you finally do get greeted, don't ask for a drink menu or beer list because they don't have one. Also, try not to order tall beers because they run out of those glasses too and will try to charge you for a tall when you received a pint. When you order food, double check it when it comes out, if it all comes out together. Since we saw they were "busy," because they only had 2 employees on the floor, we waited until pretty much everyone else ordered and got their food in the restaurant in hopes of ours being fresh and correct. Of 6 people in our group, only 1 person had his order correct the first time, my son. Egg on a burger that was supposed to be fried hard came out with a runny yolk, another burger was missing all the veggies (when the server asked the manager, who was in the kitchen the whole time, he responded with "it didn't come out that way?"), two orders of wings had fries practically colder than our beer, and the last order hadn't been put in at all, for the youngest child at the table. They were out of pepperoni for the kids' pizzas and out of dos xx on draft, which apparently appeared later? My friend had a bud light that tasted awful, literally had a sip, sent it back, and they fought with us to try and make us pay for it? Forget about asking to split a check because getting you check alone will take forever. People around the restaurant had to raise their hands to get the server's attention. When we finally received our check and noticed multiple things were wrong, getting someone to fix them was apparently inconvenient. She went to get the manager since it was "out of her control" but he didnt bother to talk to us since apparently our business is not valuable to this place. I've never been so disgusted by such pathetic management and poor service. I have worked in the food industry so have plenty of patience when it comes to these situations but the way everything was handled was an utter disgrace. Perhaps if the manager would speak to guests who have issues and actually give a damn about the people paying his bills, this place could go somewhere. Maybe instead of staff doing karaoke on the clock and having drinks with people at the bar, they could do the job they get tipped for and paid to do. Definitely will not return to this location and probably will not try any of their...
Read moreMy time at wicked wings on 1st and slaughter was well spent. The food is awesome and fresh, try a salad or any appetizer with the top shelf bar. You'll not be disappointed! And there's a patio outside of the bar and restaurant. You can play corn hole, a very popular game at bars and restaurants. All over Austin for example. And the actual wings are so good it's hard not to order MORE. I had a pizza that was so good it was vegetarian. A cheese pizza personal size, yet very filling. And I loved it! My daughter was pregnant and craved the wicked wings pizza just about daily. The baby was getting the good food. And is now 4years old and both of them now crave the pizza and the chicken wings. Barbecue is his favorite food and especially the wings. It's oh so pleasant to bite into. I believe your good to find multiple sauces at the restaurant. Please do yourself a favor and visit today. You will not be disappointed! Great atmosphere And you may want to check out the games indoors for a 10 $ deposit you can play. And you may WIN SOME CASH! ITS A SMALL INVESTMENT FOR THE FUN OF THE GAME. Mostly slot type games. Enjoy! Karioke on Sunday night, you can test out your voice in a live bar and listen to other folks too. Tons of fun I sang one evening and talk about fun. Excellent time at WICKED WINGS. Great music and atmosphere plus football games with the tvs strategic location around the bar. So what's not to like? Ty for reading my reviews. My photos go viral. I didn't photograph because of privacy issues. I didn't want to disturb the fun . Which was all over this restaurant with very fresh salads and other menu items. Like a personal pizza. They come vegetarian too. So what's not to like? During the day I would take my older children and chow down. On Thier favorite foods. All of this and a top shelf bar. You can't go wrong! So enjoy your time there to munch and chill. The place will put you at ease quickly. It's a safe environment to spend time at. Okay...
Read moreI will start off with saying this location was doing a great job when they first opened a few years ago. Giving the benefit of the doubt, my family and I have not been here in awhile, though a few times we tried calling in and no answer/straight to voicemail and also coming to dine in and they were closed. Tonight we decided to finally come and eat dinner, everything was to a good start. Server had mentioned he was the only one running the store, was his first day and was in the position for a bartender not server. In which we respected that and were being more easy going. He took our order and we asked for drinks, which took about 20 minutes to even get. We didn’t really pay no mind to that until the food was brought out and we had asked for boneless wings and were brought with bone in wings. Hesitant to ask because he really wasn’t attentive to our table at all and more concerned with the bar and another table, my mom had to go up to the bar to ask for ranch and also to let him know we did not receive what we ordered. He came to give us our ranch and didn’t mention anything of replacing our order and just said “ That wasn’t my fault “, talking about the order being incorrect and didn’t offer to replace them. Once again, we had to go up to the bar to pay as well. It is on the pricey side due to a boneless basket of wings with 12 were $13.99. I Understand boneless and bone in are two different things but there’s no prices on the menu and we were never alerted the price difference since we were getting bone in and not boneless. The point is, if you’re understaffed, either the location needs to be closed until staff can be hired to be more attentive to the customers who go there to eat and not the bar or hire more people. Keep in mind this location doesn’t look kept up with, as the glass windows and doors are very dirty. Looks as if they’re doing the bare minimum to keep the place open...
