Over the past 3 months, the daycare has been complaining to my son and daughter-in-law about my 3-year-old grandsonâs behavior. While I admit he is not perfect, I would like to give some examples of issues I am perplexed by:
As I stated before, my grandson is a rambunctious 3-year-old and is by no means perfect, but they canât handle the basics of childcare.
If you are looking at reviews for House of Little Angels, I left this same review on the Facebook page, Google, BBB and Yelp. You will most likely notice there are no negative reviews on their Facebook page because they delete them and currently have a 4.9 out of 5 rating. Please pay more attention to the reviews on sites that they donât control. The 4.9 out of 5 is not the true rating for this business. The response from the day care center is incorrect as my daughter in law posted a comment on their FB page a week before mine which they deleted. I am not going to argue the details as I stated my grand child is not perfect but they do not have the skills necessary to care for small children. They also don't monitor their child to teacher ratios...
Read moreItâs a very bad experience with this daycare. I donât recommend this one.
First, they said they only have 20 minutes TV time for kids when the weather is not good for outside activities. But everyday they give two hours TV time for my 14 month old child. In the morning, if I drop him off at 7:00am, they just put my child in the TV room to wait the class teacher. I donât know how long they stay there , but when we get there about 7:50, also the kids were waiting in the room. In the afternoon during the pickup time, the situation is the same. Whenever I get there at 5:00pm or 5:50pm, he was watching TV. So what? I put my child in a daycare or TV center? They do not follow their own rules. I am thinking if I should report to the government department.
Second, since the 3rd day my son was there, he got sick. Before he never was sick. And during the three weeks he was there, he kept being sick. They donât care, they just keep charging money and telling you they donât accept sick kids. My sonâs hands never were washed. Thatâs why he kept getting bacteria. After I changed a daycare center, my son was very good and happy with the new one.
Also, the new daycare put all the kids in their playground when the pickup time.
Third, one day, I got there 9:02am. After they open the door for me is 9:04. And the manager said, the time is late, they were not going to accept my child that day because I donât have doctor note. I explained that the traffic is heavy, and only two minutes. She said no because she let the teacher go home at 8:30am. She ignored my sonâs hands towards her, and closed the door to us. Thatâs why I said, they donât care about the kids, they just care about money. See, the last acceptable time is 9:00, but they ask teacher back home before 30 minutes of the acceptable time. My husband and I were very angry. My husband talked to the director and she said, âokay, you can bring your child back, I will put him in another classroom. We have two other children in the same class also were put in that classroom. That means they made over size for another class. So we paid full tuition but they didnât provide...
Read moreI canât express enough how much I love and trust all the HOLA staff with my daughter. My daughter started daycare at 10 months and had already a set routine. Ms. Betty, Ms. Blanca,Ms. Andy, Ms.Estela, and Ms.Ally (and Iâm sure many more) all helped my daughters transition into a new space become into a place she enjoys. I also want to mention that they have an app where you can track what your child is doing throughout the day and even upload pictures which I think is incredibly awesome. (Only you can see pictures or messages being uploaded of your child) You can also message staff or director through this app and the response time is within a few minutes in my experience. I would definitely recommend House of...
