Thrift Town used to be my favorite thrift store, but unfortunately I think I've made my last visit. This place used to be so well organized by style, size, color - it made it so easy to look through. I actually spent more time and money because it was an easy and enjoyable experience. Now the racks are barely organized, have no labels, and are so packed full you can't even sort through them (not the mention the increase in poor quality and way outdated clothing). The new layout is also extremely disjointed, making it that much more overwhelming and frustrating to shop here.
And as others have mentioned, the new "vintage" section is laughable. Not only are the items way overpriced but they have separate color tags that don't seem to be part of the weekly color deals.
Sad to see that this place has absolutely lost all of its charm. Instead of playing into all the great things that set them apart, they replaced them with disorganization and higher prices. It now looks and feels like they are just waiting for Goodwill to buy them out. A great example that updates are not...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAs with all thrift stores its kind of hit or miss. I've gone and made out like a bandit, and other times found little to nothing. The people that work there are not very nice though, and I don't think I'll be going back for awhile. It didn't used to be that way, this used to be my favorite spot. But this last time was very frustrating. They don't have public restrooms so I asked if I could leave my cart at the front so I could go and find a restroom. At first they said no, but eventually let me. I wanted to buy a Teapot and some jewelry from two of the display cases but when I took them and went into the line the woman got upset because I guess I wasn't allowed to hold the jewelry and Teapot, she had to bring them to the cashier and then I could buy them once I reached the front of the line. In the confusion, I lost my place in line and had to go back to the end of the line. It was honestly ridiculous. They also have a rule that you can't take the cart out of the shop which is fine, but they are very harsh to customers who don't realize and start...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI personally don't normally do my shopping at thrift stores or prefer to, but this is my favorite place to dig through. They have clothes that are actually in style as well as out of style vintage galore. Most of the newer donations and hand me downs are brand names that are typically higher in price, like so much of their Abercrombie and Fitch material that's constantly renewed throughout the store, as well as Forever 21 and daily basics like Mossimo Supply regularly carried by Target and such stores. I love buying some of my clothes here because they have so much variety and actual brand new arrivals circulating daily. They also have a color tag of the day, which makes everything that color half off, and seasonal promotions and even sales. Their 4th of July sale based around EVERYTHING in the store being half off, including the already divided color tags. This is a local business so it's awesome t ok be actually enjoy your community and feel like you're a part of it, because you're involved in the...
