Kind of pricey. Seems pricey for the type of shrimp they give. My wife is from Sinaloa and she makes the same dishes but is very different. They had the tortillas soaking in grease, which the dishes do not call for. The baja taco was fried fish, the quesadilla gobernadora, was nothing like what I expected.
I feel the attractive part about it is the fact that the food is made fresh, not frozen. But even then, if you are looking for grease free, fresh fish and shrimp, this will not be the place. Maybe get a cocktail or something that does not involve tortillas. I think many people like the place because, although they do not serve alcohol, they allow you to drink it and right across the street there is a store where you can buy alcohol.
I paid $55 dollars...

They use 5 different types of fish 🐟 for their dishes. Every dish is well balanced, and neither "over" or "under" cooked. All the ingredients 'pair and pop ' from each other.
It's only a matter of time before this restaurant becomes an Austin staple and grows into something more.
Great option for catering considerations.
If you want to "switch it up" from the normal options available in South Austin and are in the mood for seafood, this is the place to discover...
Read moreI’ve been hearing about this place for quite some time now.. I’m from California but I have friends from Texas that come visit and they praise this place! I recently visited those friends in Texas and finally got to see what they meant. This place is worthy of praise! Hands down better than any of the other food trucks I’ve had in Texas and better than any I’ve been to in Southern California. Not only was the service genuinely friendly, I could tell that the workers are passionate about their customers and the food that they serve. Just by the friendly service and the authentic taste in each bite. This is my new go to spot next time...
