Michi Market — Local services in Austin

I was so excited to explore around this place, but now I don't plan on giving it another try... I bought tofu, 2 seaweed snacks, duck eggs, and a drink. I'm so sad to say that the tofu and both seaweed snacks were VERY expired. I didn't noticed until the next day when I was about to eat them. But I shopped there on 8/5/2024, and both seaweeds expired in Oct 2023 and the tofu - May 2024. I don't see any expiration on the duck eggs, but I'm just gonna throw them out since there is a big chance they have already gone bad. If you go by, just make sure to check all...

Michi Market took over the old Asia Market. They’re still in the process of stocking the shelves, which are still half empty. But they have some interesting stuff — like sauces, ramen, snacks, drinks — mostly Asian.

The "We're still stocking the shelves" sign has been up for many months. There's never any sign of anybody actually stocking the shelves. I'm no shelf-stocking expert but it seems like filling the shelves up should be a matter of a week or two worth of work. The ramen at Michi is great, but I would not suggest planning on shopping here if you expect anything like what it was as Asia Market...
