AMAZING customer service! If I could give 10 stars I would.

I live in Denton and was calling this branch to see if they had private meeting rooms that I could reserve when I visit my sister in Austin, so that I can meet with my patients virtually and not have to cancel sessions.

I spoke with Anne, who answered the phone cheerful and excited. She immediately walked me through options at this branch and others in the city. She walked me through where to go online and how to reserve rooms.

This Austin Public Library branch is perfect for me.

The design/build of the overall environment, interiors and exteriors, is thoughtful, well executed, and well maintained. Facility was very clean inside and out.

Staff were exceptionally kind and knowledgeable, and very helpful.

Library resources were well organized, working, clean, and available.

Location makes this library easily accessible by walking, biking, driving, and public transportation. Plenty of parking.

Nearby are convenience stores, coffee shops, and places to shop and dine, making this library a perfect destination.

It's a library and it has books! This branch is on the smaller side, so the selection isn't the best for your more obscure titles (but can be brought over from the other branches). The library is fairly new and an overall pleasant environment. The wifi is fairly slow during the peak hours of the day, so don't come expecting to watch the latest episode of your favorite HBO show. For getting actual work accomplished, though, the silence and atmosphere beats any of the coffee...
