I arrived at 11:40 pm, three days before Christmas, to pick up an online order and return some items. The store was operating during holiday hours, so it was open until midnight. No one was at guest services, and the lights were out despite nine employees visible at the front of the store waiting to go home when I asked the guest services employee to make a quick return using my Target Circle app, where all receipts are accessible through a single barcode that streamlines the process. They then said that all the registers in guest services had been shut down for the night, so there was no way for them to process a return and that it was Target’s policy to close guest services at 10 pm. As a former Target employee, I knew that none of this was true, and you can see in the photos that 4 of 5 registers were fully functioning and, at most had the tills removed. Non-cash transactions can still be processed without a till, and they knew my return was using my Red Card. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was told that every employee at Target is now considered a manager. The guest services, employee, and his friend/coworker, finally admitted that they closed GS early due to being short-staffed, not because it was Target policy as they first stated. On my way out of the store, I noticed they had put signs at the drive-up parking spot saying that guest services were closed for the night. I was talked down to, disrespected, and inconvenienced severely, and I had to make an extra trip the following day to the South Lamar store. This was all due to the employees’ only concern being clocking out and leaving and no concern for customers.

I ordered a mattress for my child that desperately needed one right now, for in store pick up. I used all but $17 of available credit I had to get it. When I go inside to check I get an email that the item is out of stock, so the employee canceled my order. I just saw 2 of the item on the shelf. Talked to what an employee said was a manager and everyone gold me, "oh if it's on the shelf just bring it up and buy it" I don't have the money I tied my money up in this one, "oh sir it's a pending charge it will release in 3-5 business days" why don't u un-cancel my order? "OH no sir once it's canceled on our end there's nothing we can do" so now my child has to wait 3-5 more business days for a bed because their order picker is blind. The item is 3 feet tall you can't miss it. Pics below. Not very bright will never use target again. They barely have a selection anyway. In the pic it's the 1st 2.

I am very disappointed with the service I received today. I’ve never been so embarrassed in my whole entire life and the situation should’ve of never happened. I needed to make a trip to get some personal items and take advantage of the coupons I received via target circle app. The cashier forgot to give me my $5 gift card for a promo that I took advantage of, the cashier instructed me to go to the service desk because it was already to late to give me my gift card. I went to the service desk and explained to the service team member that I didn’t get my gift card and I forgot to scan my cartwheel for $2 off Colgate toothpaste. Brie the ETL was right next to her and I explained my situation again. Instead of making it right she belittled me and argued with me about giving me my gift card and $2 off! She told me I’m not allowed to get $2 off and my gift card.Since I told her verbally I was going to return she told me “I’m not allowed to get my $5 giftcard”.I’ve worked for target over 7yrs and I never once argued with someone over something so small. For someone to tell me the policy when I know it is ridiculous. I’m so upset and had to leave because I was shaking and then she was telling a customer who was behind me about why she didn’t give me gift card which is also unprofessional. Last time I check employees don’t own target or the items inside and I wasn’t trying to get over on anyone. For someone to argue with me over a gift and $2 is beyond me. Thanks for embarrassing me and arguing with Brie you made my Target...

If I could give it a lower score I would. I went in Saturday morning to make a return. They ladies at guest services were standing around eating candy and not worried about what they should be doing. Finally a lady named Anavel came over to help me. Oh my goodness they eyerolls and attitude were unreal. I found it hard to believe I was dealing with a grown woman not a 15 year old. She gave me an attitude for not having a receipt. Afterwards I proceeded to walk the store to get the items I needed, everywhere I turned there she was. I was being followed by this same employee....Sure enough I get the items and proceed to check out, and who is there,... Anavel. I paid for my items and walked by and waved my receipt at her, to show her I was not stealing. As I started to see the reviews and can see why your scores are so bad. They are probably dealing with Anavel... She should not be an employee that has to deal with guest. She has a horrible attitude and clearly does not want to be there. I was made to feel like a thief and it made me very uncomfortable following me around. She was rude and condescending, I hope to never have to deal with her again, or anyone for...
