Hands down THE WORST SONIC AND THE WORST FAST FOOD CHAIN in this area. I honestly didnt even want to give 1 star but it made me. So i pulled up to the first sign at 1:05 pm. Pushed button a few times girls walking back and forth into the sonic on cell phones said excuse me but was ignored. I said ok ill try another spot. Pulled up to 2nd sign at 1:20 pm. Same thing just left waited and ignored by car hops . I wanted to give up and go somewhere else but my son loves the slushies. So i walked up to the door they enter in and out of. Finally after 7 min a girl acknowledged me. Then there was a issue with checking me out. They said because i walked about and they were now confused whos order was who. There were 4 employees and the cars out side next to me NOT OWNED BY THE EMPLOYEES. I have pictures of them sitting in the car on cell phone parked in customer spots smh. Thats probably the ones that the button works. I finally received our food at 1:54 pm. They were rude acted as if i was an inconvenience. Im sorry there is TOO MANY Good workers out there to allow your customers of this location to be treated so badly. Look at all your reviews. 1 star. Hmmm i wonder why. From a business stand point think about this. Imagine HOW MUCH MONEY YOU COULD BE MAKING IF YOUR EMPLOYEES WERE BETTER THE CUSTOEMR SERVICE WAS BETTER....
Read moreThis would have been my fourth Sonic to work at, but they are dragging their feet with the hiring process. South Burnet (before they shut down allegedly due to rat in kitchen), Montopolis, and South Lamar were all toxic stores, and this store has given me one too many red flags, same ones I've seen multiple times before. Namely the fact that there have been far too many GMs in past few months. I sincerely hope that the current GM is truly a man of his word in being determined to turn this store around, but I've seen way too many GMs come into other stores I worked at talking that big talk. Have yet to see one store truly succeed for any length of time and meet their own goals. Every store barely makes it, and many not even that. Far too many in Austin shut down. Perhaps area supervisor and others in the positions above GM need to stop doing the same things over and over again, because that is the definition of insanity. Truly shameful that every store continues to be run into the ground with only temporary fixes from time to time. And the biggest issue is that they act like the lowest level employees are the problem. Yeah I don't think so. Stop trying to bully those you perceive as weak, take accountability, and do something different to fix...
Read moreWorst experience ever. When ordering, the girl was silent the whole time and kept getting the order wrong on the screen. We waited about 20 min and a guy came out with the food. We paid and then realized that we got the complete wrong order. The only thing right was one of the drinks. I took the food back to him and he had such an attitude about it even though I was being really nice. Another girl came up and told him her order was wrong as well and he looked really angry about it. We waited another 20 min and they came out with the complete wrong orders AGAIN for us and the other girl as well. The sonic girl was being really rude about it to all of us like it was our faults. After another 20 min they finally gave us the right food so we thought but still no drinks. The other girl still didn’t get her full order as well. They gave us our drinks and we took a look at our food. Still not the right breakfast burritos and my burger was burnt. My boyfriend still didn’t get the right drink but we we’re so fed up with the attitude and being there for an hour that we just left. Worst...
