If I could give this emergency 0 stars I would. When I first came in the staff at first was great. I was told I was being admitted. I was placed in the hallway on a bed from 8 at night the night I was admitted until 2 30 the following day (afternoon) I then finally gotten taken upstairs for about a half hour only for a doctor to come in and say your being discharged and you should of never been admitted. He gave me no instructions on what to when I get home or nothing as to a plan getting better. This doctor also didn’t know my case and was not apart of it very long. The nurse who was in the room was very kind and remembered me from when I was in there on the same floor sick back in January and went above and beyond for me to help me get answers before I left. The lady that you call when you have problems was also amazing and made sure I was okay before sending me home. Both her and my nurse took time out to care and understand why I was scared and frustrated. That doctor who dismissed me without even bothering to run further tests on me and wasn’t on my case very long has made me feel like I didn’t matter. It is very sad because the first time I was ever admitted in this hospital I had a very good expierience. The emergency room doctor I saw at first was also great as he remembered me from being there before and he knew my issues. I give my nurse 5 stars and the lady who helped me deal with the bad expierience and the first emergency room doc I saw as well as the kind nurses but the doctor who discharged me who knew nothing about my case and didn’t seem to care how I felt 0 stars. We come here because we are already not feeling well and get treated like we don’t matter. It will make me think twice about ever seeking help again. Thank you to the ones who truly...
Read moreA hospital that although it is making improvements, the staff is not in general and some electronic equipment such as interpreters are lacking. I am a Spanish speaker using Google translate and I certainly visited the emergency room with my pediatric child and if it were not for my child being my translator we would have waited longer, because according to the nursing staff and doctor, there is only one person. On the other hand, the insurance information staff is discriminatory, instead of going in person they make a phone call to you, while with the people who speak English they go personally to the room. At one point I saw the person named Tyler walking through the hall and room taking information and then she took an information stamp from my child but she did not show up anymore, look it was her because of her ID and not the voice message she left on my cell phone . On one occasion the doctor notified me that they were going to move my child to a cubicle, even on the screen that was in front of my 2ab I saw that it said Move to room and then Move to ED and they never moved us. They honestly do not give you privacy, equality, security, attention and respect equally. Both the Spanish-speaking person and the English-speaking person should be treated equally, we are all human beings with the same right in search of...
Read moreI've been a patient here for many years with my family as well. I highly recommend that if you receive care here to get it elsewhere. I contacted an ombudsman about an incident that happened with me a very unprofessional RN on the hospital property. I was told basically because I didn't know or ask her name that I couldn't be helped?! Are you serious what are the odds this disgusting employee of yours was going to even give it up. So patients can't act out, go intimidating your staff but your employees in uniform with a badge showing can. I'm not stupid and know this place has cameras everywhere. I was basically told too bad. Absolutely terrible that this is allowed by any staff with no consequences. I would be cautious with the care your loved one receive here. If this is how this employee acts with a family and patient outside of the entrance I can only imagine what she's like clocked in.
