I wasn't blown away. I am giving them 3 stars because everyone was polite and basically professional, but I thought that the person who was available wasn't very knowledgable. I had a ring I wanted slightly larger, a vintage watch band that I wanted something custom done to, and a ring I wanted confirmed to be 14k as I had purchased it privately. On the watch band issue she didn't know if what I was looking for was possible she would have to keep it for someone else, she didn't know if the ring was 14k, and she wasn't at all specific regarding what it would cost to enlarge the ring. She was starting to write up the ring enlargement and I decided I would not go forward with that, as it was the least pressing of the 3 matters, and I didn't feel like giving them my business if I had to take my other 2 issues elsewhere anyway. Perhaps my expectations were too high for this particular store, but I have never walked into a reputable jeweler and not had them at least be able to confirm the authenticity of a piece of jewelry, and given that I wasn't just asking for a freebee and I came as someone who would be a paying customer, I expected a bit more than a shrug and a flippant remark about the chance you take when you buy jewelry off ebay, which was not correct, I have recourse if the ring is not genuine, but also not helpful commentary I really don't need to hear. Call me crazy, but you need to actually help your customers if you want to earn their business. I couldn't help but feel like this person really didn't care about earning...

I honestly can't say enough great things about Kevin Edward Jewelers. After looking at rings at many different jewelry stores and not finding the ring I was looking for, my fiancé and I stopped at Kevin Edward Jewelers one afternoon hoping to view a Simon G band that I had seen online. Kevin, the owner, greeted us with a huge smile and immediately made us feel comfortable. When the Simon G ring finally came in, unfortunately, it looked nothing like it did online. Seeing that my fiancé and I were a bit discouraged, Kevin offered to design a ring for us. We chatted for a while about what exactly I was looking for in an engagement ring and Kevin listened attentively. About 3 weeks later, the ring was complete and we went to view it. To say that I was absolutely floored is an understatement. The ring Kevin created is my dream ring and it is beyond anything I could have ever imagined. We recently got engaged on July 4, 2015, and I have already received so many compliments on it's beauty and design.

Working with Kevin was a complete joy. He made this process fun for us, as it should be, and I would highly recommend him to anybody looking for their dream ring! He listened carefully to our ideas, stayed within our budget (a huge factor for us) and offered us his expert opinions along the way. I am so happy that we decided to stop into Kevin Edward Jewelers that day because had we not, I would have never ended up with my dream engagement ring.
