Swan Dive They started off as a bright star, beautiful interior design and refreshing menu given what the side of the mountain has as far as full restaurant service. The original staff they had in place including the general manager created an atmosphere of welcome and appear to be working really hard to build an establish clientele. Now the Swan Dive, they've created some traction have a client base and little by little the prior general manager who was an intelligent bright engaging woman is no longer there, one of the main Partners from Southern Connecticut is no longer they are and has been replaced by a man who is absolutely Clueless about the notion of hospitality and building customer relationships he seems much more comfortable staring at hot plates being served then he is checking in with patrons to see if the meal is going as planned. Fair warning don't make the mistake of asking for an appetizer to be shared or you will be charged a $2 cleaning fee that is nowhere listed on their menu. Not talking about the typical plating fee to share an entree but an appetizer which within the restaurant industry is not an unusual course to be shared. make sure you ask them to give you all the ingredients of the dish being served a great example is there"strawberry cheesecake" the only strawberries are two Middle School slivers of strawberry top with not more than a teaspoon of a gelatinous syrup they refer to as a coulis and the dried out Italian version of this cheesecake is filled with berries not strawberries. Parting words prices have continued to rise, preparation of food at best news mediocre and certainly overtime the town will no longer be enamored by the interior design and will start taking a very close look at the food pricing in overall poor attitude of the current management at this establishment.
