My almost 11 year old is autistic and cannot master a two wheel bike. The crew at Barefoot Bikes helped us get her on an adult sized electric trike. Not only did they help us figure out what kind of bike would be suitable for her, when the bike came in they made the pick up a whole experience. They made sure the bike fit, helped her pick out a helmet, supported and cheered her first ride and even helped load up when it was time to go. More than that, they stayed late so we could make it after my husband got off work. We will be doing more business here. I can’t think of a better place to shop for bikes and gear.

The folks at Barefoot Bikes went above and beyond to help me with getting wider tires put on my e-bikes. What sounded like an easy task turned into a bit of a puzzle as they had to mount the front tire on one bike 12 different times before all was said and done! And as every question about tire options, how to adjust or remove the fender guards, etc…, came up, they gave me a call to make sure they were ok to proceed. Pricing was great and honest. I highly recommend taking any and all bike questions, maintenance, and purchases to Barefoot Bikes in Aztec.

I went in to have a repair on my bike, but was considering a new to me bike. The person gave me a quote on my repair , I asked to see some used bikes, which was presented. However they also gave me options for a new but discounted unit with a trade in value for my bike. After a trial ride with several units with the person riding and explaining the new bike., they helped put it all together. Extremely satisfied with the complete experience. Fast professional service and work.

Wade at Barefoot is hands down the most compassionate and knowledgeable person about mountain biking in the Four Corners. They sell Santa Cruz, Cannondale, and more!

I met Wade when I first got into biking and couldn’t even ride 3 miles comfortably. Through his knowledge and help, I was able to achieve a 50 mile ride.

This shop puts in community events like group rides and I’ve heard some races are in talks for the future.

If you want the BEST mountain biking shop (even better than 2nd ave in Durango) then you need to stop by here before you go anywhere else. When it comes to biking, I choose Barefoot, and you should too.

Plus it’s locally owned...

Bearfoot Cycles of Aztec, NM is the most honest, hard working, customer accommodating, reliable bike shop in the entire Four Corners. I live in Durango and no bike shop here or any nearby towns can come close to comparing to this shop. I checked them all out and was blessed and lucky to find Bearfoot’s owner, Wade to be so refreshing to talk to and our bike deal was seamless! I felt respected, heard and catered to. Like customers used to be treated when businesses had work ethics. This shop is the leading professional standout bike shop you...
