Mazzulo's Market — Local services in Bainbridge Township

I’ve been meaning to check out Mazzulo’s for a while now and am glad I decided today.

The store (I visited the Aurora location) is very organized and conveniently spaced, making it easy to view items and find products.

I had quite a few questions for staff about the meat selections and pre-made items.

Help was given without pause by Tara, who was assisting me and even took the time to go into the back to get answers to a couple of out-of-the-ordinary nutrition questions I had.

The meats on display looked terrific, as did the pre-made items. And I was told they make sandwiches to order as well. I’m going to go back another time to try their Italian sandwich.

I purchased some chicken chorizo, chicken salad (which Tara said is a top seller), and baked pieces of bread filled with meatballs and pepperoni. Upon checkout, they gave me a free slice of their pepperoni bread.

So, let me state I am super picky about quality and taste.

I have to be honest; I couldn’t wait to get home to try the pepperoni bread, devouring it on the car ride home instead. It was freaking awesome.

Later in the day, my wife and I tried the chicken salad, which did NOT disappoint. I make a pretty mean chicken salad myself and say that Mazzulo’s is one of the, maybe, two places I’ve found in however many years of life that does it right.

I purchased two corned beef briskets from Mazzulo's in Bainbridge on Saturday March 16th, where I had always had a good experience shopping previously. I noticed on Sunday, when i went to prepare them on March 17, 2024 that the use or freeze by date was marked March 13, 2024.(three days before my purchase). I called and left a message with the store to notify them of the problem. I received a call back from a rather snarky lady who told me that they were aware of the issue, and that it was a problem from their supplier. She said that it wasn't an issue, and that if it made me feel better, she would serve it to her family. She also said that they had made corned beefs using this batch today, and served it to their customers for sandwiches and such. It wasn't really the response that I expected from what I always considered to be a quality market. I travel from North Carolina to help my mom and ALWAYS visit our favorite MAZZULO’S MARKET and try to pack as much to take back south.

Brad and Brooke have carried the family tradition for decades. Their associates are so caring, knowledgeable, and family to us! My 91 years young mom that cannot move around will try to get there on her own on a regular basis.

Even with Heinens right across the street - GO TO MAZZULO’S as they have the absolute top quality products, hand crafted scrumptious meats, deli’s, and so much more!

I had no idea that they offered awesome lunch sandwiches and homemade meals so don’t waste your money going to a chain or bar - just stop in and order (super fast) or order ahead for the most prime meals for lunch or dinner.
