Center Street Market — Local services in Bakersfield

They are a little family owned and operated business. And when I started coming here, they repaved Thier driveway so it was easier for me in my wheelchair to come into the store. And if I needed anything I could not get to in my HD 20" wheelchair they helped me get it. They are always super nice and friendly especially to regulars. If the older gentleman is in the store, don't try and put anything in your pockets to take up to the register. You're better off risking dropping stuff and breaking it instead of being accused of stealing. Never had any problems with Center Street. Easily the most convenient and normally friendly store. But one prejudicial interaction can easily turn away a three year constant customer.
