Let me start off by saying that it’s amazing to come home after being away for so long serving my country and having a local member of my community bring such a wonderful experience and making it memorable for my family and myself. I booked Cali Sweets for a family gathering event and from the start to the very end the communication was perfect. The many options that were provided to me, the timely response, the food quality, the customer service, I can go on and on. They made sure I was listened too and understood the needs I wanted for this big moment in my life. Now for the food, it was DELICIOUS! it tasted fresh and fluffy and very flavorful. Where do i start!! Was casually driving back home from work down downey and i came across a eye catching dessert truck named cali sweets, so i pulled over to see what they had to offer. Their customer service is spot on, they welcomed me in with huge smiles and i started my order. They have a variety of selection from crepes, funnel cakes, deep fried oreos etc etc, what i told the person that was taking my order is to create me something special and i told them i loved funnel cakes and crepes! They started their creation of this amazing crepe burrito filled with funnel cake pieces and fresh fruit and even ice cream in the middle!!! 😭😭 the first bite into was so good that i had to stop myself from ordering on to go😭! Cali Sweets Funnel Cake was a major disappointment. Despite its appealing appearance, the dessert lacked any real flavor or sweetness, leaving it tasteless and bland. The crispy texture couldn't compensate for the lack of taste, making the overall experience underwhelming. The absence of variety in toppings also contributed to its mediocrity. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Cali Sweets Funnel Cake to anyone looking for a delightful and flavorful treat, as it failed to meet even the basic expectations of a traditional funnel cake.
