Boba St. — Restaurant in Baldwin Park

Went today for the first time and was not impressed at all. The lady working was very rude. Upon walking In there was a green and pink drink sitting on the counter that looked very good. I asked the lady what kind of drink is that? She replies "It's not on the menu sorry.... it's for a friend". Which I thought was okay.... then I asked "but you can't tell me what's in it"... "no sorry"...... thennnn the male worker walks up behind her and grabs the cup and Goes "Matcha with strawberry and oat milk " and a young girl walks up and grabs it. I thought it was very rude of her and him both the way they handled the situation. Poor service. They continue with making my 2 drinks which honestly weren't too good .. flavor was very light. Overall not impressed. Better boba shops all around town . Don't waste your time or money here. I'll be buying a matcha strawberry with oat milk some where else . ✌️ Do better Boba...

Somebody else commented this, but this Boba joint does have a very authentic Taiwanese taste. Very delicious.

I always try new boba places around SGV and have been to a lot, and so far, this place is the best in regards to taste.

The price can seem a bit high to most, but considering business costs, it's not unreasonable, and with the quality being received, it's very fair.

I always get a Hokkaido Cream Milk Tea w/ 50% sugar, light ice, cheese foam and creme brulee anytime I visit a milk tea cafe. Ever since discovering this spot, this has been my personal staple.

Same delicious consistency every time I get my drink.

Good location, well decorated. Tasteful decor, not excessive or exaggerated. And with finger foods now on the menu, I am interested to see if this place will prosper.

Manager is also welcoming, answering any question. Seems to know how to get...

Been here 2 times a few years apart. 1st time I visited was jam packed with people at night but friendly staff.

Recently I arrived around 2:30 so was pretty empty then boom everyone started slowly coming in. Staff was ready to help n was greeted when entered. But not very nice. I felt like they didn't want me there.i felt more like a dollar sign than a customer compared to other places. No smiles, they just looked mad or bitter or just unfriendly compared to the last time I visited.

Personally, I have over 10 years experience as a manager so seeing the vibe the workers gave felt stuck up or bitter sorry to say. But maybe I came ona rough day or something.

Still, I recommend it here they do make really good drinks.

Can't say it's my go to spot while in this area for sure I'll drop by for a quick treat
