Very silly people! LOL I am new to RC drifting and I really liked the unique selection of parts that SuperG offers. A couple of things that were not disclosed before purchasing, and went unaddressed after purchase. MSTRMX2.0 RTR. $350. Does not come with adjustable turnbuckle components as pictured and also in the description of what comes with product. Not a big deal, but after bringing that to their attention, I was told that I could purchase a turnbuckle kit for an extra free. No acknowledgement that the listing has a false statement. Weeks later, they are very upset that I keep bringing this up, as if the situation has been resolved. lol. Also does not come with ball bearing differential. Never really cared about that though, because its a drift car. RC lighting kit with back fire. approx $50. Throttle and brake/ reverse reading backwards. I brought this to their attention via email. I was told to contact the manufacturer. I asked why did not offer a swap out or offer to contact the manufacturer to see what could be done. They said they do not offer warranties, swap out, or replacement. IMPORTANT: DO NOT BUY PARTS ONLINE FROM THIS COMPANY. YOU ARE STUCK WITH WHATEVER THEY SEND YOU, WHETHER IT WORKS OR NOT. I have explained what I thought was wrong about the transactions and interactions. This hurt one of the fellas feelings so bad they he felt the need to get the owner involved. The owner was very nice, prompt and empathetic, but thought maybe my expectations were too high. I explained in more detail why expectations are not too high. Stating the facts of what their website claimed vs what I actually received, and how his associate had failed to address my complaints. Now his feeling are quite hurt as well. He claims to have been "floored". Never experienced anything quite like the interaction he had with myself... The feeling is mutual. LMAO This is the unfortunate consequence of giving everyone trophies when they are growing up. I am sure they are nice people. Just be sure not to hurt...
Read moreI came into super g completely unknown in the world of RC drifting. I had some hobby grade off-road cars before but never drift. I came in with my little cousin today ready to buy a car. Firstly decided to see if they rented a car to see if this is something I truly am interested in And they did. After paying 30 bucks for 30-45 minute rental. And reading the rules and signing the papers. Which didn't say no sharing. The man told me to swapping back and forth. So I let my little cousin drift. He spent probably about 30 minutes drifting the car around the track from barely being able to drive straight. To being able to take the back half of corners. The track is very beautiful and has a good mix of turns. When he was driving I went to go look at some cars and ended up deciding on a chassis that I wanted a yokomo md2.0 for me and a yokomo yd2z for my cousin. I sat back down with my cousin at the track and he gave me the remote to do a couple laps. The man who had helped me before was now telling me that I was not allowed to share in the rental that I had paid for. Telling me that in real life on a real racetrack when you pay for track time you pay per driver. I was just confused by this. So I left with my cousin. Not purchasing the car I had decided on and my rental that still has charge when we left. Unfortunately in my confusion I didn't get the name of the employee. I understand that people have bad days but this was just, well disheartening. Needless to say not a great start to the rc...
Read moreUpdate: Im updating this review to 5 stars after my contact with their support. They sent me a replacement body that arrived well packaged, in perfect condition. While I was very upset with the first 2 bodies I received, I’m happy with their extremely prompt service. I will continue to order from Super G in the future, and with how quickly they remedied the issue, I recommend others do the same. Thank you again Super G for the amazing customer service.
——————————————————————————— I’ve ordered from this company a couple times now, and while the shocks I ordered arrived in good condition, neither body either time arrived in acceptable condition. The first time I ordered, there was a single crease in the body. As it was minor, I kept it and decided to use it anyways. I did order a second of the same body though, and waited over a month for its arrival due to back order. Attached are photos of the box as well as its contents. There was no padding or protection whatsoever surrounding the mold. There are creases in all sides severely disforming the body. As I waited so long for it, I’m not willing to send it back and wait months for a replacement. But I will not be ordering body’s again from them, and if they aren’t going to take time to properly protect the product, I wouldn’t recommend anyone...
