Paradise Nails — Local services in Baltimore

Only rating the 1 star so that I can leave a rating. If anyone knows any BLACK owned nail salons please point me in the direction!!! I literally just came here from a 30 min commute to get a pedicure. I prefer my water hot. We try 2 different stations and the water isn’t getting hot so I decide to leave. As I’m walking out, the owner (I’m assuming) asks what the problem is. I tell her the water isn’t my temperature preference. She then tells me that the water needs a few min to heat up..I inform her that lady and I were already back there for a few min waiting with 2 diff stations, which the staff informs her of this as well. Another customer can overhear us and asked to check the temp as well, and decided to pass because of this. She then asks me to wait while they heat water up in the microwave which is annoying but I go ahead and wait. After waiting for almost 10 min, the owner comes and tells me that the staff is leaving and won’t be heating up the water. I’m just blown away at this point. As I’m putting back on my shoes the owner then turns on the water asking me “how is this not hot enough?” 😡😡😡 NEVER...

This is a horrible GHETTO nail salon. I got my lashes done there before, which pulled out most of my real ones when taking them off after 2 weeks because they were already falling off. They sell liquor in the store. The space is small and cramped up and you can’t get the nail polish without being in someone’s way. I also got my nails done, a black girl came up to me and told me she could do my fill in. She had no idea of what she was doing. She cut my nails down too far and you could clearly tell she didn’t know what she was doing. I’m experienced with nails but I just choose to get mines done in a shop. This was the worse experience ever. I only went because it was close to my house and it was late. The girl that did my nails was also outside playing and smoking weed before coming inside to work. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. My nails was lifting and coming off before it had even been one week. I was always told to give alternatives if I have a problem so my alternative is Nail Spa on Belair Rd right...

Went here yesterday. This wasn’t the best Looking salon cosmetically but I was willing to give them a try! I just needed a fill in so I’m not particular if I have a good set on already! A man did my nails and from the moment he started drilling my gel polish off I knew this was going to be bad! He was entire too rough! I have like 4 cuts on my cuticles from the drill and a gash from him excessively filling on my actual thumb behind my nail! Then he kept telling me to not be tense! I was tense because he kept cutting me and would just say sorry and keep doing it! And they had a horrible color selection! And I paid $30 for clear gel polish and cuts all over my hands! This was terrible! The owner seemed nice and like she does decent nails but don’t let the man touch your nails! Trust me! Wish I could...
