Three cheers for Phoenix PT! I have been with Phoenix since they migrated to Fells Point/Canton and I'm a big fan. I was dealing with a stubborn case of plantar fasciitis and other issues since 2023. While dry needling treatments helped, it's really the wonderful staff and therapists that led to a complete recovery.
The location is very convenient and has a warm, neighborhood vibe--it's always popping! The clientele is a diverse cross-section of the folks who make Baltimore neighborhoods great, and it just feels like people are working together to feel better...and there's even an in-house dog to boot!
The staff is friendly, and stayed on top of all admin/insurance matters. They followed up regularly, which made me feel accountable and encouraged me to stick with treatment. The therapists are kind, take time to listen closely, and take a personal interest in their patients.
After a life of hating regular exercise, they were able to help me devise an exercise plan that I have been able to commit to, and encouraged me to become more active in general. Thank you Phoenix PT. While I hope not to come back, 😉 I am...
Read moreI’ve had a great experience at Phoenix. I primarily struggle with SI joint, hip, and pelvic pain. As someone with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome - Hypermobility (hEDS), being hypermobile can cause a whole mess of issues. Caroline never gives up trying to understand my complicated mechanics, treating my pain, and getting me stronger at the same time. We’ve started doing laser therapy, and I already am starting to feel a difference! It sort of tightens me up and I’m more stable in my workouts. It’s hard to describe, but my pain seems more localized??? Like it doesn’t feel like it’s taking over my brain. I can say where it hurts and Caroline gives me the workouts I need to build strength in those areas. I have tried expensive injections and like dry needling, but I’m thankful that the laser doesn’t give me days of severe pain. I definitely trust Caroline with my weird joints! Plus she and the whole team are just feel so good to be around. It’s always a good...
Read moreThis is the best experience I've ever had with physical therapy. I'm a professional musician and have had pain related to my work for years. In the past, I've just been told to "stop playing as much" or "take a break from practicing" in order to get better. That was always very discouraging, and made me feel like my pain and my profession were not taken seriously. So it's been a big relief to work with Chadd and be told instead "this is your passion and your livelihood - we will find a way to get you better so you can do these things without being in pain."
I have been given so many helpful tools and exercises since starting here about two months ago, and I always feel listened to and supported.
The general vibes of the clinic are also great, with lots of comraderie, encouragement, and humor. Extra bonus points for dog lovers like me, as one of the PT's brings her sweet and very chill dog,...
