Honestly extremely disappointed and finally irked enough to write a review. Don’t get me wrong, the soft opening was great because everything was fresh. Unfortunately like most all of the Russian/ukrainian stores they fall to their old habits. I stopped in excited to get some fresh food from a new clean store like the first time. Well guess what I got the same treatment they give most everyone asked if the herring was fresh and was told it’s great. Turns out one bite in it I had to throw out fish at $5 bucks a pop, which price wise is a whole other story, but I knew as soon as the girl reached in the refrigerator into that rust water container holding the herring I was in for it, tasted like an old fish with a spoiling taste as if it was from one of the Balkan countries and their weird fermented delicacies. Went to get mortadella, and specifically asked to have half of the vacuum sealed package be divided for me to take home, and guess what was met with frustration that well we have to give you the peace we have divided off of. Well guess what that peace was green on one side when I got home. I spend hard earned money trying to have a taste of a cultural heritage and am always met with this kind of crap at these stores and I’m not the only one. Oh and before I forget bought another full salami stick to only get home and see that it’s discolored on the Inside by a quarter inch. Seriously disappointed and out right pissed. It’s time for these stores to start scrapping all there near expired or bad food and write them off as food waste instead of sneaking it to customers. That may work in post Soviet countries but it doesn’t work in the US, and I as a shopper should never have to walk into a store expecting to be screwed over and have spoiled or near spoiled expired foods snuck to me. Apologies if this comes off wrong but...
