I can admit that I really wasn't looking for anything in particular but I enjoy the artwork, and had intentions of buying a comic book or two if I had found some covers that I enjoyed. I had intended to frame the comics for hanging. I didn't tell the owner I was looking to frame them but when I asked about walking dead comics he just said, (paraphrasing) "Oh yeah, I got some in the back but it's a mess back there." He made a face that said he wasn't going back there to look for them either. I know it wasn't just me because as soon as my friend and I left, she immediately said something about the look he had made also. While he might not have made much money from me on that trip if his behavior and attitude had been polite and accommodating, I had budgeted a hundred dollars for the visit and decided to leave when he clearly wasn't interested in helping me. His poor customer service is the reason that I'm leaving this review. I won't be going back, and if he continues to have a bad attitude with his customers, they won't come back either. It appears that I'm not the only one to feel this way judging by the similar reviews posted by others. If you don't like people, you're in the wrong business. Decent option for finding out-of-print issues in the Bangor area. I was traveling through Maine on vacation, and stopped in (I like visiting comic book shops in different places). The store was a bit confusingly organized, it was difficult to tell exactly what shelves to look for what publisher or series, and they have quite a lot of old issues bundled and set out to fill up space. I asked for a specific back issue for a series, and apparently they have quite a deep backstock since he asked what grade I would like and said he had about 30 copies (it was from 1994!). He came back minutes later with a copy in the grade range I wanted. The price was a bit steep, but that's expected since this is a brick + mortar store, rather than ebay. Overall good experience, but could use a little clearer...

Horrible experience, I went into the store looking for a few specific comics. The man behind the counter who I assume to be the owner was very rude. When I asked about these specific comics he said he would look for them. 10 minutes later and he still didn't go look for them and just stood behind the counter and never gave a yes or no. I just ended up leaving and going someplace else. Store is super unorganized and most of the comics are kept in the back so you can't even see them. Oh and to add to that the owner stares at you while you are looking through the store like you are trying to steal something.
