I've had bad to mediocre pizza my whole life (mainly an Arizona thing, pizza just isn't good there) until I had a Portland Pie Pizza. I've yet to have a bad pizza from here and they all taste really good. The cheese is very good and the dough tastes just as good. I'm so happy they have so many vegetarian options and on the menu. The vegetarian options are clearly labeled which is great for me! I've never had beyond sausage as an option on a pizza before and it was so nice to include that, as it does taste good. I've never once been worried about the beyond sausage being accidentally excluded and instead actual sausage being included in its place. Which is one thing I've been concerned about with eating at restaurants, this place does not concern me.

The garlic dough is really tasty and goes well with any toppings. I'm always excited to get a PPC pizza when I can as it's never been bad. I do think online ordering can be a little funky. As I know with one pizza I got, I wanted fresh mozzarella on top including the four cheese blend, but instead got only mozzarella and no cheese, so it was mainly red sauce and the mozzarella chunks. I don't think they offer both together or at least not online anymore, so I wish it was more clear when it would substitute that or that it's not an offering. Also what toppings can be applied to a whole pizza Vs. a half pizza. Like online the ricotta cheese has to be on the whole pizza or it doesn't apply. Might just be the online site.

Other than that the pizza is always fresh. When I come in for lunch for a single slice and ask to have a piece not touching the pepperoni the staff is always helpful and nice about it. The staff are kind and never give off a bad attitude. You guys are doing a great job :)

Really the best pizza place I've ever been to and...

Portland Pie Company truly stands as a gem for those in search of a delightful dining experience that combines the cozy ambiance of a pub with the culinary excellence of a top-notch restaurant. This establishment shines particularly bright for its exceptional dessert offering - a gigantic chocolate chip cookie that is nothing short of spectacular. Served warm, this cookie is the perfect blend of gooey and crispy, creating a texture that dances on the palate. When paired with their rich, creamy vanilla ice cream, it's an indulgence that transports you to a state of bliss with every bite.

But the wonders of Portland Pie Company don't stop at their dessert. They are renowned for their wide array of stone-cooked pizzas that cater to every preference, from classic combinations to innovative creations that surprise and delight. Each pizza, with its perfectly charred crust and top-quality ingredients, is a testament to the skill and passion that goes into their preparation.

Beyond pizza and cookies, the menu is a treasure trove of culinary delights, featuring a variety of dishes that showcase the same commitment to quality and flavor. The atmosphere is just as inviting, with a vibe that strikes the perfect balance between a laid-back pub and a cozy restaurant, making it an ideal spot for any occasion.

In essence, Portland Pie Company is more than just a restaurant; it's a culinary haven where each dish, from their heavenly pizzas to their decadent desserts, promises a taste of pure heaven. Whether you're a local or just passing through, a visit to this delightful spot is sure to leave you with a memorable experience that will have you coming...

My partner and I arrived, and they seated us at a small table in the middle of the dining room, where we were in the way of multiple tables and staff. It took 20 minutes to actually get service. We felt a little enclosed and tired of being in people's way, so we asked our waitress to move to the vacant table that had been empty the entire 20 minutes we were there. She said "That should be fine!" So we moved. Not 5 minutes after, whom I assumed to be the manager, approached us in a rude demeanor stating "Just so you know, we usually could not switch tables in the middle of dinner 'rush' and that it's usually not allowed." As we tried to explain to him that the waitress had said it was fine, he fought with us stating "That's not what I heard, the waitress said you asked. I'm getting two conflicting stories" and as we tried to explain, he wasn't having it - he kept arguing us, insinuating we were lying. My partner had asked him to speak kinder to us and he rolled his eyes and walked away. That was when I decided to leave. We did not deserve to be treated that way. If he had went about it in a more polite way, to make us feel welcome, with still doing his job, we would've...

We tried Portland Pie Co. recently and had a great experience. The menu has a solid mix of creative and classic options, and everything we ordered was flavorful and well-made. The Steak and Cheese Pizza was a standout—loaded with tender steak, plenty of cheese, and a well-balanced sauce. It had that perfect mix of savory, cheesy, and slightly crispy goodness. The Buffalo Chicken Pizza was another winner, with a good kick of heat, creamy ranch drizzle, and just the right amount of tangy buffalo sauce. For appetizers, the Spinach and Artichoke Dip was rich and creamy, with a great blend of cheeses and a nice garlicky finish. It paired well with the crispy chips served alongside it. The Baked Potato Fries were a fun twist—crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and loaded with all the toppings you’d expect from a baked potato (cheese, bacon, and sour cream). Overall, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. Definitely a great spot for a casual night out with good pizza and apps!

Visited Bangor and actually took our time picking a pizza place that would be memorable, unfortunately it was memorable in a terrible way. We ordered the Cape Neddick and were unpleasantly surprised to find plastic in every bite. By the time we had gotten back to our place to eat it, they were already closed and we were flying home the next morning, so we could never get a refund or coupon or new pizza or anything of that sort. There was no basil on it at all, so they seemed to think we’d prefer plastic to that. Really didn’t want to write a review but after messaging them about the problem, we never heard anything from them. So yes, they do not properly make their pizzas, but the lack of customer service is, in the end, the main issue. Please unwrap the pepperoni before cutting it and placing it on pizzas and please hire someone to respond to customers. Your pizza costs way too much to ignore these issues.

we were staying in Camden Maine, but were in the area looking for antique shops and decided to stop in for some food. this place is very nice inside and service was great. we ordered the cheesy bread, chicken finger basket, and a 10” personal wolfe’s neck alfredo pie with garlic dough. we were shocked when the bread came out, it was the size of my pizza! it was delicious and super cheesy. the only problem was i ordered no tomatoes on my pie, but i did not send it back since the pieces were big enough to pick off and it was still delicious. this place is a must-try if you are in the area!
