This was my third time coming to this restaurant, previously enjoying it but this third experience was absolutely awful. First, our waiter Morgan M. was very rude and short with us not even greeting us upon ordering. Starting the interaction with “drinks” And questioning my boyfriend’s out of state ID (although somewhat reasonable, he is freshly 21) but after showing his university ID to confirm his name she was bold enough to comment about his haircut in a very rude manner, which is not much different from his current haircut. This was the only interaction we had with Morgan because she had disappeared for about 40 minutes before another waitress had come over to take over for her. On that topic we had waited for our food for a little over an hour and had waiting for our appetizer major of the hour. We had been at this restaurant for almost two hours and had ordered two appetizers and one meal. I’m disappointed in the service I had received and I hope they can do better...
Read moreBeer selection was great. Here is what to expect. The pours are small for the price. I understand the price for drafts. Downeast for the ounce served way over priced. 8ounce? Others offer 16 ounce for same price. Apps.. pretzel. Over priced and was black. .. Spinach artichoke.. excellent. Need to serve 2 grilled pita chips not one for the price.. 2 drinks, pretzel and artichoke dip without tip 46.00.. it’s extreme. Would I return? On service yes. But not until food cost changes.. one can argue inflation.. but I’ll stay away for the time being 😏 *ADDENDUM to owners response: You can get Downeast on Draft. Your 12ounce can was not what we received. You didn’t apologize for the burned Pretzel I was served. Your prices are not on par for the world! You can hope to have me back in one hand, and wish in the other. Not...
Read moreGreat food and drink selection. Was able to eat out back at the picnic tables with the puppy which was nice. It was nice to have a wide variety of beer selection (as I was also tempted to try a cocktail) I went from the oxbow catalyst, a saison brewed with honey, to a NEIPA from Orono brew co. (an establishment I’m very fond of. Both great palate tantalizing creations. The Asian pork belly appetizer and falafel tacos were perfectly executed. The Mac and cheese, which was in a cast iron skillet, and supposedly piping hot, was hardly warm. The flavor seemed good, but, judging by the unmelted cheese on top, it just needed to be in the oven longer. Service was great, didn’t have to wait, and recommendations were made that didn’t disappoint. Will most likely be...
