Christys Collections Three Generations Beautique & Gifts — Local services in Bardstown

This is not acceptable, not my story but was on Facebook, facts supported by the 16 yr old.

I highly recommend that you DO NOT shop at this boutique in downtown Bardstown.

Morgyn went to several boutiques today, in hopes of finding a dress for an event. Morgyn didn’t find any dresses she liked until she got to to Christy’s Collection. Morgyn found a dress that caught her eye and was standing in line to try it on. A worker told Morgyn “That dress will not fit you, it runs tight.”. Morgyn put the dress down and was walking out of the store when the worker said “Was that rude”. Morgyn left and instantly called us in tears. After Morgyn told us this story, we called the business. We initially had thought that it was a cashier that had talked to Morgyn. When we called the store and asked for the manager, our Dad said “My young daughter was just in there” before my Dad could even continue his sentence the manager interrupted and said “I’m so sorry, I didn’t mean what I said in a bad way”. The conversation continued and the woman hung up the phone. Shortly after hanging up, the manager called back in and stated several times “I didn’t realize your daughter was only 16. I’m so sorry. Can I just speak to your daughter.”

I never heard of this boutique, and so I went to their Facebook page. There are several post on their page that talk about uplifting woman. The events that happened in this store today, IS NOT SUPPORTING WOMAN. A woman should never be put down for her size-...

HIGHLY RECOMMEND AND I’LL BE BACK EVERY CHANCE I GET!! First time I have been here as an out-of-state visitor and one of the best boutiques I’ve ever been too! Not only was it absolutely adorable with amazing fashion at a steal of a price, but the owner was warm, welcoming and so very helpful! She even offered to keep her store open later so we could continue to shop, try on all of our finds, and share tips about the beautiful town.

I was absolutely saddened and appalled to see some of the one star reviews on here when coming to leave my review. It’s obvious that they all were posted by friends of one sensitive customer that didn’t understand the worker was offering help when sharing how sizing runs on certain clothing. Flew in from California for the Derby and got into town a little before 5pm. The owner was so kind! Not only did she stay open for us, she gave us some history about the town, gave us suggestions where to eat and made us feel like one of the girls.
